In-n-out shooting in Idaho

It's political. I mean, there's a long list of what 🍌s hate (often for no good reason or nothing based in actual evidence), but with Elon it has to do with resisting the COVID lockdowns, having the audacity and ability to rescue stranded NASA astronauts when stupid Biden refused because they didn't want to give Elon a "win", moving his business headquarters out of California, buying and saving Twitter (now X) and opening up speech to everyone (not just 🍌s), helping Trump get elected both financially and in-person, railing against 🍌 policies/men in women's sports/woke ideology, noticing the 🍌s pulling the strings of Earth's chatroom (Twitter, the Twitter files), railing against gender-affirming care, and now he's pledged to help Republicans win the mid-terms (financially). I'm sure there's more but that's off the top of my head.

Some 🍌s (AOC, Bernie, Lizzie) falsely-claimed that Elon never paid taxes in 2018, when Elon OVERPAID in 2017 and thus didn't have to pay in 2018. He's paid more tax than any other American in history, but does that stop the avalanche of 🍌 lies? No.

There's a very good reason I left the Left, because they went frickin' crazy.
“Musk asked Epstein for ‘The Wildest Party’…”

You've been coming at me this whole thread, and that was Ad Hom. Not worth a response.
you also moved the goalposts earlier from which group likes EVs and green stuff to total sales to change the subject. also you did respond to him and his ad hom, kinda weird

Seems like his point is that EV’s are pretty universally accepted and have nothing to do with politics. The only people that were violent against EV’s are 🍌s in any sort of recent timeframe.

And nothing so far has shown the shooter targeted the couple because of the brand of car or that it was an EV
i solved the motive 2 times in this thread yall far behind, must be stuck in in n out lines :ROFLMAO:

Oh you guys are just trying to say conservatives are driving the EV market? According to this study EVs are still much more favored by Democrats but have become more favorable to Republicans. Democrat interest in EVs also increased but only slightly, it certainly hasn't gone down. https://insideevs.com/news/784167/ev-political-divide-is-shrinking/
they ignore all the conservative messaging about green policies and EVs and what the politicians from the party say. its funny

Not to mention that using their parlance, Tesla was essentially a "👨🏻‍🎨" company that was subsidized both on the back end and consumer subsidies, they weren't profitable for over ten years and only survived with public money. I'm still trying to figure out how any of this fits into "conservative" ideology besides the fact that musk is their guy now

Well, that Democrat interest hasn't bolstered Tesla alternatives like Rivian or Lucid. Companies like Honda, Hyundai, and Nissan had to discontinue some EVs in their line-up due to slow sales. GM still makes the Bolt, but that hasn't cracked the top 10 models in the U.S. Makes me question how much influence the Democrats have on EV sales.

Rivian literally sold every car they made in 2025 which was around 42000 and they have increased production for this year. I don't even know why you want this story to be true. Meanwhile the trump admin shut off 8000 federal charging stations and cut the electric car fleet used by the federal government. He's also cancelled wind projects, and numerous other things that negatively affect EVs and just our energy independence and raise prices, wind power is one of the cheapest sources we have. If conservatives want EVs that's great for everyone, they should stop trying to ruin the infrastructure and energy projects that facilitate it though.

The website in your sales link doesn't show Rivian competing against Tesla in model or overall sales this year. That Rivian 2025 number is nearly a 10,000 drop from 2024, and that's with the Tesla Takedown movement of 2025. Rivian is reporting a 1.8 billion dollar or more loss this year.

Where are all the Democrats that are supposed to bump this company up?

From a quick Google search:

"Yes, Rivian still loses money on the actual manufacturing and sale of its vehicles, though the per-vehicle loss has dropped significantly over time. The automotive segment recently posted a gross loss of roughly $6,000 for every vehicle delivered, down dramatically from the tens of thousands of dollars per car lost in earlier years."

Ford loses money on every Ford Lightning too.

Meanwhile, Tesla has >15B in cash and cash equivalents.

Selling a car is one metric. Profit is pretty important for companies long-term. I want Rivian to succeed though.

Oil is a finite and contested resource. So, it's not sustainable. No wonder gas prices are all over the map, wars notwithstanding.

You need to find new memes.

I just don't understand your entire premise, do you really think that only conservatives buy Teslas? This entire idea is bankrupt and you have no data to support it. Rivian is a small and newer company that hasn't even got off it's feet, Tesla lost money for way longer. The funny thing is Tesla is leaving the consumer EV market soon, they won't even be selling cars.

That's a straight-up lie. There have been some government subsidies, largely related to opening up the Supercharger Network so other EV manufacturers could get a foothold and address range-anxiety, which is far higher with non-Teslas.

If you're gonna lie with every post, why are you still in this conversation?

Also, did you already forget the GM bailout? GM didn't just kill the electric car (the EV1), they caved-in to CARB and got bailed-out. There's even a documentary about this called, "Who Killed the Electric Car?". That's about GM and the EV1, produced from 1996 to 1999. Tesla formed in 2003.

Tesla is not losing money. They have a war chest of over 15B, that's BILLION. Everything you post is either wrong or an outright lie.

Fancy way to say "Tesla Takedown" failed.

For a company that's supposed to be "leaving", they have a funny way of showing it since they just released the Model Y L, and have rumors of another Tesla vehicle in development.
