Nahhhh. Their legal team is stacked. Who exactly will be suing them and for what?YouTube is probably worried about potential lawsuits or something. I'm sure there was a meeting with some executive that had to go through multiple layers of approval for them to implement this policy.
My guess is that YouTube isn't generating enough ad revenue from gun content to make it worth their time to deal with those potential lawsuits.
Occam’s razor, they just don’t like guns. Much more likely than some boogeyman explanation.
If their fear is lawsuits why wouldn’t they completely ban guns the way tiktok has?
Either way, that just doesn’t make sense. That’s like saying they will ban energy drink sponsors because they’re scared of being sued over a kid drinking 10 monsters and having a heart attack.
