In TEOTWAWKI you (and me and 95%) would be dead before that second and third caliber are needed.

All that ammo and options ain’t going to do much against a dozen man+ poise conducting a call out with megaphone in one hand and a combustible in the other.

Though the chances of that happening are so small it’s silly to think about much of this beyond a passing glance. Because even the presentation of a gun or projection of force (ideally in a good number) in time of minor unrest seems to keep the peace fine enough. That’s why this thread is a major lol.

Gun nuts making decisions based on fantasy? Never! That whole industry is not at all based on that.
 
My 226 is “CA compliant” but have freedom week mags.

My Spear is “CA compliant” that is turned back to stock free-state form with freedom week mags in about 30 seconds.

Shout out to old faithful Mossberg 500 but Im taking range and capacity all day.
 
For me, my go-bag has a PS90 and FiveseveN and 1k rounds. Low recoil and not too bad on the ears incase earpro is not available in an emergency situation.
