It’s more the width for me that makes it difficult. I even got a WC grip for my p365 to get a little wider… the BG felt crazy thin in comparison. Very cool gun, I just dislike shooting tiny guns anyways

That's the natural compromise unfortunately. You can't beat physics, but the BG 2.0 comes pretty darn close. It's incredible how they created such a tiny pocket pistol that has decent capacity, shoots a dependable self defense round, and shoots as softly as it does.

The compromise to a smaller/thinner gun is always going to be difficulty with grip, but it's not anything that can't be fixed with a hogue grip or extra training/practice.

For me on the fence of getting one to add to CCW. Already have a Shield Plus which thought was very light and thin for summer carry. Great improvement on grip and trigger over the original. Just do not know if worth it as I feel the trigger looks to be the same as the Shield Plus, but definitely looks better for concealment in summer when wearing tank tops, tighter shirts, etc. Guess will wait till I get one in my hand. Have a Canik Prime also for most carry days and Shield Plus just go to lighter depending on clothing.

How do you like the Canik prime? Currently, I have an MC9LS which is my bedside HD. I’d love to get my hands on a prime radian when they are on the market.

Love my Prime. I have a few Caniks, Rival, Rival S and Mete SFT. I do not use red dots on my pistols, so the taller irons and big bright red fiber optic front site works for me well. The Prime fits in my hand just about the best of any pistol I own or every had. Fits like a glove due to the stippling, grip and angle. Same awesome trigger like on most Caniks, flat face and great reset. I put the Rival trigger on my Mete SFT too for consistency. I shoot it almost as good as my full size and heavier Caniks. I do not know how much the comp really helps, but definitely way better overall of a pistol in what you get than any other CCW gun on the market for me. I thought the Shield Plus had a decent trigger and it does compared to the original Shield and my old G26 that carried for years, but the Prime is so much better.

BTW, Canik just came out with a non-comp Prime. I do not think I will get a Radian. Do not feel it will add much as I already have a regular Prime. I know the comp should be better with the Radian, but the regular Prime already is pretty flat shooting especially if you have any skills.

You may want to hold off on those pinky extensions and hold it first. I got a full 3 fingers on the grip.

I don't think I have seen this much hype for a .380 in quite a while. In the past I have heard a lot of people claim that .380 was just not a good choice for self defense especially compared to 9mm but I personally will consider the body guard 2.0 for ccw EDC

Yeah it’s interesting from my perspective having been away from the forums/gun news for a while. .380s were never even talked about. I can see why this one is though, with bullet technology today a good .380 is probably better than a 9mm hp from the 90s/00s and this gun is TINY so I get it. For me, the p365 is as small as I need but this is a cool new piece I’m glad we all have access to

I’ve got 10 and 12 rounders for mine. I can’t decide which I like better, haha!! They both work and fit great.

9mm is still a lot better, .380 just doesn’t make a lot of sense but I guess it works.

I have the shield x and pre ordered the bodyguard 2.0 one for more clothes Conceal the other for more summer conceal get both lol

I always tell people this about the p365, the Hogue grip sleeve changes a lot for that gun. Gives you enough grip while keeping the overall size of the gun still small.
