Wondering same thing if anyone at Turners, etc. has gotten thiers?Any word on an ETA?
So strange. Iāve already taken mine home (as have plenty of others in this thread), yet some are still waiting for stock to arrive? So it goes.Been on the waiting list at the LGS, who stated they ordered a bunch very shortly after the announcement dropped. No ETA from them so far.
Doesnt surprise me that Turners emplyee would think they get first dibs. Well Turners is definitely not the FIRST to get them. My wife has had her california compliant BG 2.0 comp for a couple weeks now. Bought at a small mom and pop ffl.I was at RifleGear a couple weeks ago picking up a purchase and out of curiosity I asked the salesman if he had seen a Bodyguard 2.0 380 yet. He advised no but they were expecting to eventually get them in. He further advised that Turners, being Turners and one of largest shops in the state, will be receiving the first shipments from SW distributors. He told me that once you start hearing/seeing Turners customers getting them, that other shops will start getting them. He told me his best guess estimation was late July/August.
I wonder. How many folks handed over their credit cards to Turners when the BG 2.0 was added to the roster to get a place in line and if they were charged right away? That was months ago. That being the case, has the purchaser been being paying interest, while Turners is earning interest? Just wondering.
RIF (Reading is fundamental). I never said this came from a Turners employee.Doesnt surprise me that Turners emplyee would think they get first dibs. You got me. Riflegear employee was incorrect then.RIF (Reading is fundamental). I never said this came from a Turners employee.
The G42 is arguably the best .380 ever made unlike the G43 due to the difference in recoil. But why would anyone need a compensator and a ported barrel on a .380?.380 is definitely worth it. The ammo price isn't too bad either, unlike .32 ACP. I'm actually surprised we don't have more 380 options on the market. I would buy an 80X Cheetah and a Glock 42 day 1 if they were available here.
Sorry for coming off like a Donkey, I just wanted to be clear. You got me. Riflegear employee was incorrect then.
I preordered from Turners same day as the roster addition. Still waiting for my call.Just got the notice that I can go to Turner's on 5/18 to get the paperwork started.![]()
I was same day as the roster addition as well.I preordered from Turners same day as the roster addition. Still waiting for my call.
It shoots very well for its size because of the dimensions of the firearm. Extremely low bore axis, grip size may be small but very good purchase considering the size of the gun. Muzzle flip is manageable. Even more so with carry comp edition. For light conceal carry (pocket or bag) I would rather have a BG CC than P365.I handled one of these in a LGS this week and it was comically small. You really could throw this thing in any pocket and no one would know. Seems like it would be a nightmare to shoot (though Iāve never shot .380) with how small and thin the grip is. Iāve seen some people recommend this as an alternative to the p365 but I really donāt think theyāre a good comparison the p365 is much bigger and meatier even with the smaller grip. Itās more of a lcp competitor.
A cool little pistol for sure

Itās more the width for me that makes it difficult. I even got a WC grip for my p365 to get a little wider⦠the BG felt crazy thin in comparison. Very cool gun, I just dislike shooting tiny guns anywaysLooking at the dimensions. You get at least 30% more grip purchase with the same pistol height because of ultra short slide dimensions.
