just bailed a bodyguard 2.0 outta 10 day jail. it has replaced the LCP Max as my backup/pocket gun. guess I will sell the max or give it the wife IDK never really liked it don't really feel the need to keep it around.

Ended up keeping my Max-9 on my CCW due to its reliability and affordability……if I ever I use it for self defense, I won’t be too worried about it being taken…..that might be a good reason to keep it around

Curious to know what ya’ll are carrying now a days….I have 5 on CA CCW list (Non-CA Hellcat & P365, CA Shield & Max-9 and Gen 4 G26 that I replaced a G43X that I ended up selling)…..I actually prefer carrying the Max-9 the most (very surprised)…… when traveling outside of California for work, I am somewhat old-school and still carry my HK P2000 .40 cal and CZ P01…..what do you all carry?

Shield and G19, but mainly the Shield. Looking to add a 365 to the mix as well.

Carried a g43 which I liked for its size. But sold it and got a Canik mc9 which is just a hair bigger but holds 12 vs 1. So far it Carrys pretty good.

For woods and camp open carry a g20 10mm with full power loads. If I got to ca for work I like to just take the mc9 with neutered mag or 1911 commander. To keep where I’m staying.

G43x mos I love this thing. Got the rmsc shield but I don’t like the optic. Might need something with enclosed red dot.

My G43xMOS came with a Holosun 407k, I’ve since replaced it with the Shield RMSc. I like not having to need an adaptor plate and it looks nice.

the cheap amazon holster I originally got for the bodyguard 2.0 wasn't working out. wet back to tactical justice and had a deep ride height IWB holster made for it. been using one of their holsters with the shield plus for a while and it has been great. designed it to mostly match the other one I have, paid a little extra for the Trump pocket clip this time. if you are exempt or in a free state and want a 380 you gotta check this thing out. best 380 on the market today.

I got my CCW before the roster got "opened" back up, so currently I have a Shield 9mm, Deagle, and CA320. When I renew later this summer, it's going to be a P365 XMACRO Comp, CA320, and G29.

Solano county only lets you have 3. I only own two(yes that's a problem lol ) but my main EDC is a 43X MOS with a Holosun. I honestly had better ease carrying it AIWB when I was at my largest (I've dropped 60+ so far, still going) so for now, it sits about 2-2:30. The other is your standard issue G19.3. It sits about the same. Obit IWB, but I've made custom leather holster for each for OWB. Also made a leg holster for the 19 for range time.

• Sig P365 w/ Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS - what I thought I'd be carrying most days
• S&W 340PD for when I'm in gym shorts or swimming trunks.

It's also interesting to me that people complain about the finger grooves on the G23 and after hearing that I noticed my fingers don't fit in the grooves, but they don't bother me. They complain that the stock P365 is too small to hold securely, but I'd never noticed. People also complain that the Sig and the 340PD are "snappy," but again I never experienced this as a problem shooting. Not sure if I'm just not that sensitive to such things, or I've just never shot a well-fitted, low-recoil, smooth-shooting handgun to compare them to.

depends on what im wearing and where im going for the day.

lazy days = joggers, hoodie... p365 9mm+icarus grip, HCP 9mm both w/ 407k, xdm compact 3.8 9mm all in AWIB w/sidecar or pancake holster
casual days = p10c 9mm, uspc 9mm, xdm compact 3.8 9mm AIWB no side car single mag on non dominant side
suit or business = SAI EMP 9mm or SAI compact range officer 45acp cross both in miami vice style shoulder holster cross draw double mag holster

this is my current rotation on this renewal. i just cycled out xds for the p365, g19 for the uspc, staccato for the HCP. For any of you that carry a FS i commend you, i tried and couldn't do it and rarely carried the staccato. too big, bulky, and heavy.
