Has anyone gotten a call to come in and replace your CCW license? I got my license about 4 months ago and they called me saying they were replacing all CCW licenses with a new card that had a new template. I thought it was strange, but going in this week to take another picture and receive another card.

I got my license about 4 months ago and they called me saying they were replacing all CCW licenses with a new card that had a new template. I thought it was strange, but going in this week to take another picture and receive another card.

From what I’ve heard, they are contacting people who received their CCWs earlier this year to have them come in and change their green cards to the universal blue cards that the state approved earlier this year. I think the ones who received theirs prior to 2024 will get theirs changed come renewal time.

1. What are the current requirements for LASD applications? (I don’t have a utility bill since I live in my grandparent’s house.)

2. Any recommendations on where to train for CA, AZ, UT combo near Pomona?

Hello - Will you please post when you submitted four application or what date range they are assigning interviews? I mailed my application in May 2023 and check was cashed two months later

They are currently working on applications entered in the system on February 2023.

You need to contact them and know when was your application entered to the system. Submission date and cash checked date are not the best dates to track your application.

That's about the same timeline I had. Picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Make sure you go early to find parking. It's a little hectic there because visitor parking is up the hill which could end up being an additional 10 minutes. Congratulations on finally getting yours!

Picked up my renewal permit yesterday. My renewal process took about 60 days total! I did training early so was able to submit it the same day they asked for it

Nice congratulations! Crazy that yours was only 60 days total. I submitted my renewal application almost 90 days ago. Submitted training docs over 60 days ago, but still haven’t gotten a call. My permit is expiring soon, so hoping for the call soon!

That’s crazy! I submitted my renewal 90 days to the day before it expired. My last permit would have expired 11/4, 30 days from today! No clue how I got so lucky to go so quick

You might get a call today. They do weekend calls now so I would stay by the phone. Also, my call came from a +000000 so make sure to answer that as well.

Submitted my training docs on September 17 waiting on a call for pick up anyone know how long they are taking with the calls seems it varies from one month or two?

I want to say that the average time between submitting docs to call for pick up is around 8 weeks. I would send them an email by the 3 month mark. They're so slammed that it might have to take an email or a phone call to remind them that your file is still pending.

The scheduler called me back 40 mins later and i am setup to pickup 10/17 wow what a wait

Yeah that was annoying as hell
Full volume on all day with annoying ringtone to ensure i hear it. Picking up every scam caller from every foreign country on the face of the earth hahaha
