These days there's no reason for conservatives to hate Elon or Tesla. Elon helped Trump get elected and ran DOGE for a while. It's not like the old days when it was conservatives versus perceived liberal EV owners and when it was conservatives tailgating us and blocking supercharger stalls.

Then came the America Party launch, and polling showed it would pull more votes from the right than the left, so the right correctly saw it as a spoiler aimed at them. Trump wasn't silent in his responses either, which gave the base permission to turn on Elon. A lot of the right did quietly come back around once things cooled off but plenty didn't, and saying there's no reason left really only works if you pretend none of that happened.

There was a story recently about a basement dweller tagging Teslas in Irvine who was just caught recently. These guys all look the same. White, single, male and look like they're on the spectrum with their eyes are off. They look like the Reddit incels who migrated from 4chan, and in their view Teslas symbolize the socioeconomic divide. They are not part of the laptop class who gets to work from home. They can never afford a home a today's prices. Dating apps will never work for them. They will always eat junk and never exercise.

But to the meat of it: they are indoctrinated because they don't have jobs and can't get laid. Then they snap. That's why I'm armed because once you realize they'll torch your over ideology and law enforcement won't get there fast enough, you need to be ready to take action to defend yourself.

p.s. forgot to reply but if you have a Tesla I do highly recommend getting the EVject Escape. I was one of the first customers and have them on all my Teslas.

Fair points but the most visible haters are still overwhelmingly s, like those who keep coming back to "protest" at the Tesla Diner and continually press the "" narrative. Plus, we see the Tesla vandals on camera and they have a look which is easily profiled and the legacy media keeps reminding us of their clear biases and disinformation.

Even the way legacy media reports accidents or recalls involving Tesla is comically biased, and as we know, most Tesla "recalls" are just software updates.

Let's also not forget the "Tesla Takedown" movement, and ideation in various forms to take out Elon.

Yup.

The pattern's worth saying out loud because it's the same guy every f*cking time. Trump's Penn would-be shooter, Kirk's furry killer, last week's Irvine Tesla tagger, now Williams. Young, white, male, no job, no girlfriend, cannot get laid, low testosterone etc. That's the ignition, not the ideology (left/right bickering etc).

No work -> no structure
No sex -> no stake
Grievance reads as everyone else's fault
At the core they're lazy and unmotivated
No purpose in life

Some of you fit part of that image and feel attacked but I'm outlining the pattern from a bird's-eye view. Being on reddit doesn't mean this is you and it doesn't mean you're not capable of change.

Reddit, 4chan, 8chan, incelchan, KiwiFarms, etc. fill the vacuum. Then an ideology gives the grievance a target and eventually one of them acts.

Left or right branding is almost cosmetic. IMHO the left is the better recruiting funnel for this demographic right now. 20 years ago it was the conservative religious right.
