STACCATO P OVERPRICED?

Are the staccato Ps listed here overpriced? Or fair market? I see some for 3500 with no optic or lights, sometimes no magazines either. Not sure if there price fairly or not. Let me know what everyone's thoughts are! Just want to know what is a fair price to pay for one.

You're going to pay over MSRP even if they're used just because they're not on roster so there's usually an upcharge for the access to it in the free market.

Unless you really want a series 70 duty style 2011 in particular for some reason, the HD stuff is as good and as or more reliable if we're talking HD P4 vs P or something like that and one is series 80 that can be tuned to be near a P and still be drop safe while still running you less.

Up to you though, but as someone who's owned almost every single staccato (except some of the heritage stuff or the agency stuff like the LAPD stuff) and been shooting them since STI and even the before days of TRI, the modern HD stuff is just as good if the grip and ergonomics work for you. The glock mag compatibility is nice for capacity (if you have them already), they're cheaper and easier to replace, etc.

pretty good to hear that, considering I am getting an HD p4 with a ported barrel this week. I was just also considering a P or c2 to add afterwards.

The P is the most boring 2011 you can get anymore so in a way it's definitely overpriced. Would rather have a p 4.5 or an XL if Staccato, rather choose something else though

They literally are not the best at anything, they arent even the best Staccato

I've owned 4 Staccatos and currently own zero. They are nice guns but unless you are LEO they seem overpriced for the performance. I bought my Staccato P's in the low 3000's and sold them for the same. I compare most guns to my Shadow 2 which you can get for the low 2000's. After installing a pro package it's hard to beat an S2 for the price.

Staccatos without the LEO discount in general are overpriced, even in free states. RCD are much better pistols for the same price.

For what they are charging for the compensated CA model here, you can literally buy a Wilson Combat, which is hand fit and assembled, with much better quality parts, better fit and finish, and a better warranty, or get a Les Baer for less than the cheapest Staccato you can buy in Cali. It's crazy anyone would spend that money for a basic production gun with zero hand fitting and cheap parts.

I don’t see them as the same use case tbh. I’ve owned plenty of Wilson’s and carried both for a long time. I actually recently sold an edc x 9 I carried for nearly 10 years as the C4X just carried better, shot better, and was easier to replace + the coating and other aspects were handy for carry purposes. I agree staccatos are overpriced in the current state of the market, but they have some of the better offering for a harder use application over all metal Wilsons.

This week i tried to order a steel magwell and a steel main spring housing.
Staccato, dawson precision and Ben Stoeger all told me they absolutely "WILL NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA"

I had already ordered from Shooters Connection.

So i guess it depends on the last time you ordered, I tried yesterday.
