STACCATO P OVERPRICED?

This week i tried to order a steel magwell and a steel main spring housing.
Staccato, dawson precision and Ben Stoeger all told me they absolutely "WILL NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA"

***edit, added info***
Staccato/Dawson Precision told me to use Speed Shooters.
I had already ordered from Shooters Connection.

So i guess it depends on the last time you ordered, I tried yesterday.
Staccato ship to CA

I'm still confused. I was able to checkout and get all the way to the final payment screen with both types of items in my cart.

I had a small parts kit and an extended magazine release delivered last week that I ordered last week as well direct from Staccato.

Can you link the exact items you're trying to check out with?

Steel main spring housing and steel magwell
There's no direct analogue to that on Staccato's website it looks like for the housing itself, just the parts kit. I think the magwell is the same though.

No issues with checking out. Might be an issue on your end unless you're trying to purchase some other item. Direct from BSPS and Dawson though? Yah, they've decided to say F- you to us which sucks because they have good stuff and a lot of competition needs were met by BSPS because they shipped quickly.

This is Dawson Precision Website
I understand. I was aware that BSPS and Dawson were not shipping to CA, but that's not really on Staccato if they don't already sell those parts directly on their own website separately.

Every time i try to order from Staccato it takes me to Dawson precision. They are both owned by the same company
Which product page on Staccatos website redirects you to Dawson's page? I'm not seeing the same products on the Staccato website so just trying to see how it would push you to the other site/where that is.

Also, are they? AFAIK Dawson is located physically near to Staccato (like down the road) and is also in a close business relationship with them as Dawson manufactures various parts like optic plates for Staccato and they're also a major distributor, but I thought Dawson was still independently owned and operated by Dave. Where have you heard differently/do you have a source for this?

It was my understanding they are owned together.

We went to Staccato a couple years ago, awesome place to visit. Free tour too
