It's been bad the last couple times. The first was of course the hack. Now I think it's pure volume.

My brother and I submitted our renewal paperwork late September (including training and live fire card). He got an email a few weeks later he was approved but has yet to receive his card. I am still not yet approved. Seems timelines are all over the place and there is no order as to how they do these.
 
Has anyone moved with pending renewal paperwork submitted? I'll be moving next week (still SB county). I know I need to notify them of the move, but what happens with my renewal paperwork that has all my old info, do I need to start over completely? Anyone been in this situation?

I Had an interview Oct and havnt heard back . Interviewer told me like up to 5 months . But didn’t need psych evaluation???
 
Does anyone know how far back on the addresses we have to go? I am 73 and cannot remmeber addresses from 50 years when I was single and moving around a lot as a renter or when I was in the Navy and deployed for 6 or 9 months, then home again, then deployed again.

I think it was 5 years on my app
 
Just started the renewal process. Current CCW expires on 11/1/26. Will update timeline below...
  • 8/3/26 - Submitted application and paid fee
  • 8/6/26 - Completed CCW Renewal Training Course and uploaded documents
  • 8/12/26 - Received email from SBCSD saying I need Livescan
  • 8/13/26 - Performed Livescan and uploaded document to Permitium
  • ....
