Preferred EDC’s

My CCW is up for renewal soon and I will be updating.
Current:
Sig P238
G26 (already sold)
Ruger LcrX

Going to change to:
Sig P238 (such an easy pocket gun, I carry this the most)
Springfield EMP 9mm
And a very unpopular choice that I have yet to see on anyone's list, Kimber 1911 Stainless II 45.

As mentioned, the Sig is my main CCW but wanted to put a Big Boi on the list for camping/car/OWB carry when I'm wearing jackets that don't print.

My usual EDC has always been 43X or 19.5, but I’ve been carrying my 19X a lot more lately. For me, the full size grip of the 19X doesn’t really add any complexities to concealing or comfortability compared to the 19.5 and it’s very soft shooting compared to the 43X. Suffice it to say, the 19X is quickly becoming my preferred EDC.

Hellcat RDP and my original Shield 9 that I bought when back in CA. I also have tried carrying a PSA 5.7 Rock, but it's a bit big and heavy, so doesn't get much love and is now an office gun. A Charter Arms .38 revolver in my vehicle as a backup. In the past I have carried a Glock 30, Springfield XDS 45 and Bodyguard 380. All safe queens now..
I'm in Kern County and our Sherriff is great but for some reason 5.7x28 is a prohibited cartridge for a carry pistol. the FN is a full sized frame put I'd put it on there if it was allowed.
I've got 4, Glock 19, H&K P2000SK, Ruger Max 9 and Ruger LC 380CA.

Desert Eagle 44 mag appendix carry, and SW model 29, 8 inch carried small of back as a back up. One extra mag for the Eagle and two speed loaders for the model 29. Requires a heavy duty belt.

Primarily I roll with my Springfield Xd9 subbie and I'll occasionally use my Ruger Max 9. I shoot them well. I have a P01 and a CZ Rami but I haven't quite got the Double action first shot down .

Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator. I freaking love this thing. I had to get a custom holster due to the full rail, though.

My interview is tomorrow. Here's what I have listed as my three choices.

Springfield Hellcat
Springfield EMP Ronin
Beretta PX-4

Is it possible to change a selection during the process? I'd like to maybe carry my S&W 327.

I’m a super boring carry person. I live pretty rural and spend a lot of my time in extremely rural areas. My main daily carry is a SW 638. If I’m not somewhere in town then a Glock 21.

It's also interesting to me that people complain about the finger grooves on the G23 and after hearing that I noticed my fingers don't fit in the grooves, but they don't bother me. They complain that the stock P365 is too small to hold securely, but I'd never noticed. People also complain that the Sig and the 340PD are "snappy," but again I never experienced this as a problem shooting. Not sure if I'm just not that sensitive to such things, or I've just never shot a well-fitted, low-recoil, smooth-shooting handgun to compare them to.

Not telling you what to do at all so don’t misread this. Genuine info here I am a massive dude with huge hands. Love Glocks but the finger grooves drive me nuts. It’s real easy to take them off with a 1” belt sander and some fine hand sanding.

One of the very few .40 guys out there….I mainly carried .40 in the beginning as well, same with you P2000 and Glock 23……still carry both from time to time out of state 🤙🏽 Congrats on the macro comp end, it seems that you have a good lineup To go with the others that you had mentioned 👏🏽
Still love my SR40. It’s my bed side piece.

Way..back when I first got my permit :
Glock 19
S+ W Shield [ It was the new thing then ]

Now :
Glock 43x. , is my primary carry

Future : Just got a Glock 30 sf , maybe add that on next years permit

My CCW is up for renewal soon and I will be updating.
Current:
Sig P238
G26 (already sold)
Ruger LcrX

Wish I could carry my P238HD but my county will not allow any single action pistols (no 1911s etc.)

Curious to know what ya’ll are carrying now a days….I have 5 on CA CCW list (Non-CA Hellcat & P365, CA Shield & Max-9 and Gen 4 G26 that I replaced a G43X that I ended up selling)…..I actually prefer carrying the Max-9 the most (very surprised)…… when traveling outside of California for work, I am somewhat old-school and still carry my HK P2000 .40 cal and CZ P01…..what do you all carry? 🤙🏽
G23,M18,and hellcat gonna put my XR920 on in replace of my M18
