The brass will eventually become unusable, but until then, just make sure to pick up every piece of 10mm brass. I've been fortunate in that once in a while, I'll be at a shooting bay where someone shot 10mm but didn't pick up their brass, so free brass to me!

I appreciate the discussion! As for brass, I'm from the old school where you always police your brass at the range, not so much after a firefight in a jungle or desert but always at the range!

.44 mag is a rimmed cartridge and I don't know of any modern .44 semiauto weapons, only revolvers. Have you seen semiauto .44s?

For my money, the 10MM is the sidearm round that can knock down any adversary, be it a brown bear or an enemy in body armor. Currently, I believe it is the ultimate sidearm round as long as the shooter is big and strong enough to handle the weapon.
 
Quick question. I shot the 5.6 which has a compensator and really enjoyed shooting it. Sights were decent, trigger was good and recoil was more than fine. The grip was a bit big but they have replaceable ones for that.

Since you can only get the 4.6, is it a matter of adding a compensator and nicer trigger and it’s basically the same as the 5.6?

It's not really a plate in the classic sense, it's more of a spacer. You screw directly through the plastic spacer into the slide which is better than a plate that you screw into the slide then screw the optic into the plate. Ive run the 9mm for thousands of rounds on the plastic I think it works great, never heard of any issues with it.

We will see. I have one on order from a LGS and plan on removing it.

I removed the MDM from the recent Metal 9mm CA version and from the original Shield CA version. Also removed from Echelon 4.0C CA and PDP CA version so will let you know once I get the 10mm CA version.

Slight thread jack... when you removed the mag disconnect from the echelon 4.0c, did you get the spring to take up the space where the mag disconnect part was or did you leave the space open? Considering removing the mdm from mine.

I left the space open, just as the YT video I watched left theirs open. I have about 200 rounds through it, including some rapid fire, since it was removed and no problems yet.

I was thinking about finding a spring that would fit to occupy the space, though I haven't done that yet. ;)

NO.
Do NOT listen to an audiobook while reloading.
Nor a podcast or even have a TV on in the background.
Reloading absolutely needs your full attention.
If you can't handle that, then reloading is not for you.

I have the M&P 45 M2.0 Full Size Extra Spiffy Version 2 Again Or Whatever. The new 10mm has the same dimensions but weight differs slightly.

1) Grip is better than the Glock 20/21 Gen 4/short frame.
2) Length of Pull feels shorter. I could measure but meh.
3) Slide is about as wide as the Glock 20/21

Overall, it feels like a smaller gun. The grip feels much better than the Glock 20 Gen 4 and is far more comfortable. The adjustable palm swells are a nice feature. I really like the M&P 45 and will be getting one of these 10mm pistols.

Collect up a bucket of brass before you start reloading.
You can do that by saving the brass from your factory ammo or by simply collecting brass off the ground that other people left for you.
Then you only need to account for the bullet, powder and primer.
