Yeah that was annoying as hell
Full volume on all day with annoying ringtone to ensure i hear it. Picking up every scam caller from every foreign country on the face of the earth hahaha

Just picked up thurs ! Also my az ccw arrived the same day

my lasd appointment was at 2:20pm i got there an hour early
the female deputy called my name at like 2:17pm
I saw about 8-10 people pickup before me

the parking is still on the hill with a 5 min walk since visitor parking lot is under construction

Total cost = $683 for 2 years
Total time = 2 years 2 months 27 days

I know everyone talks about getting their Utah CCW once you get your CA one. Can someone give me some info or point me to a thread that talks about obtaining your UT license?

Had my phone interview July 2nd. My interviewer said it would be about 3 months to hear about proceeding to training and I still haven’t heard anything.

I had my interview on that week also and I haven’t heard anything back yet either.

My interviewer also did say it would take approximately 3 months to receive the proceed to training email.

There was a public spreadsheet from 2023 that showed the number of days from the interview until the proceed to training email and the average was 103 days.

However, I felt like the average may have increased since then. I saw some people who recently picked up their license, and their timelines showed a longer waiting period. The longest I saw was 138 days from interview to the p2t email.

So I’m estimating within a week and half to receive the email. Hopefully, not any longer.

Hello everyone! I just submitted my renewal for my CCW. Did it 3 months before my expiration date of February 2nd. Hopefully I get my renewal quickly

I don't see a thread here but there was on CalGuns. UTAH CCW is pretty simple once you have your California CCW but requires a class from a Utah certified instructor (there are lots in the LA area). Thread on reddit

Congrats! Now a big sigh of relief knowing you don't have to answer every scam call anymore and have your volume at max high!

I was in the same position. The deputy told me that all LASD CCW calls come from either BLOCKED NUMBER or PRIVATE NUMBER, and will not be from a number with an area code, so I stopped answering all of the annoying calls. Sure enough, my interview was from a blocked number. FYI, walked my app into the station two years ago today. Had interview eight weeks ago yesterday. Got PTT email last week. Training this weekend.

I haven't checked recently or kept up with the news but i applied about 19 months ago...thought the call was never going to come...it finally came the other day to say that my application will be reviewed soon.

Regarding qualifications and SB2, has anything changed? are the shooting qualifications the same as its always been? or are there more requirements now for LA County Sheriffs.
