The Turners problem is they are really hit or miss.

Not trying to answer for anyone, just my 0.02 and probably not worth that, haha!!

They are a huge chain and sadly seem to hire the most knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing counter help. Not everyone, of course, but it seems a lot of them.

The side effect of that is the corporation has to have strict double and triple checks on paperwork. As a result, Turners is infamous for taking much longer for basic things like PPT’s.

I only buy from them when they have some crazy deal that only they can come up with (due to their buying power). Ex: Currently they have Shield 1.0’s in 40 S&W for $299. That’s about as cheap as you’ll find anywhere, even online.

With that said, I give all my business to GLS Armory in Rancho Cucamonga because of the outstanding service he provides.

ETA: More importantly…WHEN ROSTER FOR 2KII haha!!

Seems to be a common issue with any chain that gets big and sells to an enthusiast market. Cycle Gear is the same problem but with motorcycle gear and parts. A lot of the employees don't even know how to ride. But when you're paying $17-20 or whatever an hour I guess you don't get much.

Some shops are very knowledgeable though. Like Triple A in Vallejo. Top notch crew there.

where are you located? I like the sound of this because it means when it drops I wont have to wait more than the 10 days to get one.
 
If anyone is in the Bay Area and wants to get their hands on a 2k11 stainless pro comp they have one at Triple A!!
 
Generally are we expecting "street prices" to be significantly lower? People on youtube in free states I've heard mention like 1,800 ish dollars for theirs. Once they are here and we are past the major initial rush do we expect to see the same thing or because we're in California probably not?

Doubtful. Maybe longer term if they don’t sell as well and kimber lowers MAP, but with the excise tax we’ll always be as or more expensive for new offerings.
 
I've seen their DS Warrior - would live to see that come on the roster as well. Much more budget friendly.
