Kimber 2K11 inbound...

prices that was listed for kimber 2k11
STS Comp full size $2399
pro Royal compact 4.5 $2,599
Target coyote 5" $2,875
Pro black comp 4.5" $2,599
dont forget to add the 11% tax on top
Are these "California" prices ? Would they reprice the gun because of the California needed mods ?

For context, the MSRP of the black pro comp is 2599 for the the normal non roster version. I would guess th MSRP is the same for the California models and the stores are just not giving any discounts off MSRP out of the gate but they are theoretically priced the same

I just walked into Turner’s. They had all four but the guy tells me it’s not on the roster yet so I can’t show it to you or even let you touch it!
It was in the LEO glass display
But they were definitely the California compliant ones

were getting the expensive models and there about ~$150 price difference for being Compliant models. I checked Free State gun shops and yea there many other SKU's with a lower price tags.

Ok interesting, the prices that were posted above are the same as the MSRPs as the out of state models so maybe they are already discounted?

You ever do a PPT at turners? Or try to get a straight answer on something slightly out of their knowledge base?
no to both, honestly I don’t go to gun shops for advice because the minimum wage counter guy probably knows the same or less than me on whatever I would ask

Their managers are just the same in my opinion.
The manager at Turner's in Sacramento was super helpful with my ID issue and gave great advice and put the gun on layaway for me while I wait for my REAL ID in the mail. So at least for them, they were great. He gave me a 5% military discount too without me asking.

Dont get me wrong Im sure there are good people working there but the majority is just there for the pay and not the passion like local gun stores. Best experience I have had at turners was there was a leo asking them how much they would offer her on a sig p226 legion and p220 base and they gave her a low low offer. I then leaned over and said Ill make you an offer and they told us to go outside and we made a deal and wow what a good deal i got.

Well if you're selling to a store for re-sale I would expect a very low offer. A store or pawn shop takes all the risk and has to sell the item, that's normal. If you want top dollar you have to sell it yourself.
