In-n-out shooting in Idaho

In case you missed the news, a shooter at In-N-Out blasted customers in Idaho last week. A couple fatalities and the shooter was shot by a civilian, I don't know if he had a CCW or not or if Idaho requires one..
(If someone has a better story- post it on up). Video here;

It restarts the conversation that we all need to have with ourselves and family. Would you, as a California CCW holder, intervene as this fellow did? We all have our "rules" about what we do & don't when carrying, not the least of which is "when" we would intervene running the range of Never to My own family/loved ones with steps in between. Sprinkle a dose of "every bullet you fire has a $50,000 attorney fee attached and its quickly conflicted. Chatting with friends, maybe we ought just run the guy over with our trucks 2 or 3 times, ya know- just to make sure- and avoid the Kalifonia scrutiny that certanly would follow a shooting.

I was just going to say we were always told at work that if you look at settlement costs etc the average cost per errant round that doesn’t find its intended target is $1.1 million per bullet. Maybe that was just scare tactics.

An armed society is a polite society. The armed citizen protected the people.

When a Black man stands up to protect others, he is a hero. Yet, he is still subjected to racial slurs like the n-word. In situations like this shooting, where a Black man acts heroically, he is more likely to face arrest—not because he did anything wrong, but because of his race and laws that target vigilante actions.

Why is it, in poorer countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan have a high number of gun per capita yet does not have mass shooting.

Even in countries with strict gun laws, they do not have mass shooting like Switzerland.

Just a few weeks ago, we saw a man with a gun saved a room full of people from a man with a knife. Let's us watch and see what happens next with both cases.

Just how the amish have a significant less rates if autism, its more likely that since they are not getting tested as often or reported as often as people who aren’t amish rather than them being unvaccinated.

In Pakistan if someone gets shot, most likely its settled culturally and locally, not through “federal or state“ equivalents cause again they have such a poor infrastructure and justice system.

That happens everywhere. Good example in the USA is the hood or the boonies. No one’s calling the police there. It will be settled culturally.

Interesting how the story of what & who evolves with time. I get it- like that old saw, if 5 people watch something happen, no 2 stories will be alike. I don't find it malicious- just human nature and the way our brains are wired.

CCW permit or not people should be trained and carrying to engage and eliminate threats like the clown who decided to shoot up that In and Out. It doesn’t matter what state you are in. Someone shooting someone is simply someone shooting someone. All of these technicalities about state gun laws and local judicial systems is just smoke and mirrors they design to block you and think twice about doing what Mr. Salinas did. To come full circle is it right to do what Mr. Salina’s did? It all depends on how much you value human life.
