I forget, does this offer discounts off of private bay fees during the weekday/weekends? I think in the past you guys have allowed people to reserve a private bay on their own as long as they cover the total per person cost, right?

It doesn't seem too far off. I pay $720 a year for my private club, but it's indoors and we have unlimited access whenever they're open, free guests, $40 gun transfer fee. No outdoors though

I know that something like this may not be for everyone, but I've been a member for over four years and feel that it is well worth it for me.

Since I'm at the range almost every week, have taken many classes, purchased ammo, etc., it's easy to justify. Plus, they allow holsters and slings, so it makes training more practical.

I'm also lucky that the range is only 20-30 minutes from where I live.

I did like the free range bag at renewal though. Too bad they don't do that anymore.

I don’t mean to come off rude but what the F- have you been smoking. First off your drive way into the range is F-ed. I kicked up a rock as I was turning out of the parking lot that cracked my oil pan.
Not only that you need to clean your bays. It’s a F-ing hazard trying to run any moving drills there. Every time I’ve been there it’s takes me 40 mins at least just to set up and rake all the spent casings in the path I plan to run drills.

It seems like you're trying to come off rude. Usually, constructive criticism when you actually want things to get done and change is handled in a respectful manner. When you mention it like this, its looks like theatre and internet outrage.

I'm curious to see if it's as bad as you say it is, or it's exaggerated.

• Have you brought this up to management?
• Do you have pictures of the Bay you were on?
• Document it and submit it.
  • Our club has our own process for handling these kinds of things but they don't happen with someone being rude online. Follow the process and you'll find that its a better way to make changes.
    
    
    If you actively seek to improve, you might want to ask what SOP's they have. I say this as an active Range Master that was part of the team that helped to transform/update Richmond.

Usually when there's complaints like this, there's some underlying bias. Once you can get rid of it, it makes it easier to change things. Keep in mind, we're all real people and this niche is quite small, be a part of the team to make changes is the better approach. The way I see it, R66 has a lot of potential to be another big location in Cali. Between Richmond, Coyote Hills, Linden, R66, Oakdale, and Prado California has a really strong clubs and can be a leader. CAGuns can be a connecting force to encourage people to visit these clubs. Hopefully more people join and when things get bigger, things have to change.

I'm up now making changes here and just did a security update. We're in our roles to because we want to be here.

facts, SFV residents if wanting to stay near an hour drive have Piru, Desert Marksman, a place to shoot and the clubs near Angeles.
Only Desert Marksmen fits my schedule which I love that lets me do what I want.

I’m not paying 200+ at Piru for a day, I think a place to shoot membership is like 250 a year and I’ve heard one of the clubs in sylmar is $400 a year

Piru is that expensive now. Wow I used to shoot all day there for $25 back in the day
