Right To Bear came with my range membership. Hope it's not crap should I ever need to use it.

Have to read your contract deal. They don't seem too far off CCWsafe, probably better than USCCA.

Edit: actually they seem a lot worse, possibly even worse than USCCA. The terms say you are bound to their insurance policy, not a membership like CCWsafe. They also only provide up to 100k for bail which is pretty low for a murder charge... $1m bail for a murder is not uncommon. You have to pay extra for bail coverage and they charge extra to cover you in other states. $0 bail coverage with the base plan, useless IMO.

They also don't post their true conditions online which is shady to me. For complete details or a copy of the self-defense liability policy, contact Moultrie Insurance, LLC at 833-887-2327 or info@moultrieinsurance.com.

Did the research between competing plans at the time and signed up with CCW Safe from the moment I started carrying.

When I retired I had PORAC, but the policy states specifically firearms and I also carry pepper spray, so I added ACLDN.

ACLDN was sold to CCW Safe, so my policy was transferred over to CCW Safe. Since it's a legacy policy, it's not advertised or offered, but available for renewals, so I kept it. I also kept PORAC, so I'm running both

CCW SAfe for around 7 years now. Locked in at $179 for grandfathered rate. Get great benefits and high bond. So cheap compared to what we pay for one year of car insurance that we will not use most likely or home insurance.

I've been carrying for a little over 20 years with no insurance. I'm sure if something happens I might regret it and opening and closing a Gun Store prolly puts me at higher risk than the everyday CCW holder but I generally think these insurances are a scam and trying to capitalize on peoples fears.

Most the CCW instructors pushing it are getting kickbacks for every sign up like Dr's writing RX's. My last CCW renewal had a full lecture on CCW insurance and had a insurance rep onsight trying to sell it.
If something does happen its going to be like your auto insurance fighting you after an accident and you might need a lawyer anyway.

How is it a scam? Is there fraud or deceit? Or are you claiming shared risk pools in general are a scam? I’ve never crashed my car but I still have auto and motorcycle insurance. What if I hadn’t spared that guy’s life and pulled the trigger immediately? It’s nice to have the peace of mind against civil and criminal cases and bail.

Just like when you are in a car accident your insurance company will try everything possible to not pay out. Insurance for car is also required under law (that I also don't agree with).
I have to fight my insurance company so hard when I have to go to court over it and countless times they told me that if any evidence came up to show wrongdoing on my behalf in anyway they were going to stop representing me and sue me for legal fees.

Insurance companies are not your friend.

They’re my friend since they pay me so much money LOL, a lot of my work is investigating insurance fraud.

I have USAA so I’ve always had great experiences. Yeah depending on your claim facts they might try to resist or drag it out but there’s so many legal safeguards in your favor it’s easy. Of course you could not pay and just pay out yourself directly. Auto insurance is not required by law btw. In the state of California you absolutely can self insure so why don’t you do that?

Whatever reasoning behind it, let’s call it what it is - self-insured. People might choose to go less premium/high deductible or different endorsements to control the cost. Individual choice and risk acceptance.

I believe the original question was is there anyone stands out at 2026

I’ve has USCCA for about 5 years, but I’ll change if there’s anything better.

Tell me about the others
Google Kayla Giles... it's the reason why I encourage people to stay away from USCCA and insurance-based coverage

The woman that pre meditated her husband’s murder and is spending 30+ years in prison currently? What about her? Don’t murder people lol

Like I said before, insurance companies dropping you before court because "they" think you are guilty before proven guilty is crap.
Its just how insurance works.

Actually her murder conviction was overturned. But do go on

Attorney - client privilege is lost initially when the emergency # goes to an insurance agent and not an attorney. Something for customers to think about. Conversations with the insurance agent before being connected with an attorney are not protected, so the things people say during that highly emotional time sometimes can be problematic. I encourage people to have a service that allows for immediate connection via emergency line to an attorney where those conversations are immediately protected

Because of a procedural error. Lmao you thought you had a gotcha haha. She’s still dying in prison lil bro and will probably be found guilty in her second trial for the murder too.

You actually thought she was found not guilty and released from prison? lol
