Crazy lady assaulted my wife

You had 4 different MOS… hmmm…
Yup, I spent 10 years in the AF, then 6 in the Army before I got out to go to school fully. It’s not like I was doing all those jobs at the same time.

Cross training does exists…

Chair force is lame anyways, they were always the laziest and fattest at the joint command I worked at. You didn’t miss anything

I had three MOS in 4 years in The USMC.

Went to school for primary, another school for secondary, and OJT for the third. It happened a lot at least when I was in. If you were motivated and not a 💩 bag they would Train you up and you would fill in for open positions, exercises, training cycles deployments, etc.

Not to mention I also got sent to courses like Monitor and survey Decon course and a few others. Even got orders to Army Ranger School. Square your 💩 away and have good leaders and you are golden.

MOS isn’t your main job? My rate was IS but cross rating is a big career change. However you can pickup NEC’s like 3912/3913/3924 different types of Intel, and lots of schools that don’t have an associated code

When I was in, 90’s you had a primary MOS, (what the Marine Corps wanted you to do) and you could have multiple Secondary MOS’s from schools (What you or your Company wanted you to do).

OTJ’s were On The Job training MOS without the school. I went TAD to Weapons company for classes/ training to OTJ as a Machine Gunner, then later went to a 0331 training class when we switched from the M60E3 to the M240G to learn the new weapons system.

Hope that explains the USMC side, though 30+ years later it could be different now lol 😂

I served in the army from 71 to 74 and trained as a dental technician. Then the full bird colonel who ran the dental clinic liked my work so much that he sent me back for more training. I became an expert at making crowns and bridges.

Army building bridges, Marines burning bridges, and Air Force playing golf when weather permits. .. Doesn’t sound like much has changed.

The skills I learned in the army served me well after I returned to civilian life. But it all came to an end in 1987. I became allergic to the dust that a dental laboratory generates and I found out my wife was screwing other guys. I divorced her and, in spite of my D- high school GPA and my lack of any college, I became a Principal Engineer at a number of startups in the field of medical devices. Many of my over 200 patents are used today by cardiologists all over the world.

At the Arden mall today a random middle aged black lady walked up to Mrs. Gawer while she was sitting down, out of NOWHERE, pulled out a pepper spray and said I will spray you and pointed it at her. She quickdrew her Sabre OC Spray I got her and said "no, I have mine" and the lady walked away.
WTF Sacramento?

Wasn't exactly a CCW moment yet but getting there, I'm still dumbfounded at what happened. Not sure what I was even supposed to do.
Wow, that is truly crazy. This is why we carry (OC Spray or otherwise). I'm still working on acquiring my CCW.

Why are u guys being weird and racist about it

EDIT: So I called out the racism and OP removes the "Black" descriptor from his title, and the other racist comment was removed/deleted. To the other chud, lets not play stupid and pretend that by saying "black" we are simply describing a person and not inviting bigotry, which it DID invite and was subsequently removed. The skin color or race of this woman is completely irrelevant to this post and was not necessary in the first place.
When did this site become overrun by people who should be on Reddit or BlueCry?

Well pepper spray is better than a crazy sitting in a church and killing people in South Carolina or the other crazy one killing black people while they grocery shop in Buffalo. Let's not forget about the Parkland and Columbine shootings or the Michigan man who killed his wife and kids. Yes, it sucks that that happened to his wife. But if the lady was the same race as him, does he post the race of the nut? or does he post crazy lady pepper sprayed my wife. Dudes' wife at least gets to see another day. Bottom line crazy disgusting people come in all colors.
This is false. Apparently you've never heard of statistics? People do track them, you know, and it affects real-estate pricing.

To that end, we could also remove the gender and age descriptors.
Why even describe areas as "ghetto"? Also racist? How about low property values or crime generally? Am I not supposed to warn a new California inhabitant that it would be a bad idea to live in <high-crime city> vs. cities I know to be safe(r)? If I were an idiot I would think they're all the same, but as a lifetime resident of CA I know they're not. Crime stats are public information, and humans tend to notice trends.

Is it also wrong to notice that a woman is a big ol' bulldyke after she smacks ya on the ass?

Even when I was a little kid, I recognized that the left needs to season their ideology with a healthy dose of pragmatism, while the right needs to temper theirs with a fat chaw of empathy.

It honks me off to see good ideas get ruined with insanity.

Empathy, in part, is why the Left is screwed up. It is NOT a virtue; it is a feeling.

Feelings can be manipulated and is a basis for 🍌 ideology. Examine how they speak. It’s all “I feel…”

Refusing to fall for it inoculates one from their ideology.
