Last night my wife went to the Sara McLaughlin concert at the Rady shell in San Diego. She didn't realize it was a lesbian crowd like the WNBA.

She ended up getting smacked in the ass by the biggest, fattest, uglyest bull dyke you ever did see.

Rough crowd that night. Glad I didn't go.

Sorry you and your wife encountered one of Sac's finest. It had to be stressful and therefore unhealthy. I used to go to Arden years ago and started seeing changes. They had some neat stores there. I stopped going. It reminded me of a area I had gotten away from. If I remember correctly, the Good Guys massacre happened right across the street. Old Sacramento can be the s, too, unfortunately. If the arcade is still there I wouldn't go anywhere near it.

Maybe ten minutes from Arden I spotted a dude on foot weaving his way between cars, heading towards my girlfriend and I in her car. She responded quickly to my warning to get the car started right away. He saw we were on to him and left us alone. I spotted him early enough. This was near a nice grocery store. The lot was nice, good landscaping... but a side lot and we three were the only ones there. Looking back at it, I think the turd chose that place because the mature landscaping cut off lines of sight from the blvd, which was right there. Crazy.

When my parents have to go to certain cities for doctor appointments, etc., I drive and keep an eye on things. Some are just redneck places with lots of tweakers, but we all know tweakers suck. Other places I'm not concerned about and like. Basically, healthy.

I would only punch an aggressor (in the face) hopefully as a last resort because I've smacked someone with a closed fist and cut him and my knuckle. It took care of the problem but I had to worry about disease. I was okay, but you never know.

I completely understand why you and your wife feel that way. I know zero about Sac so I’m not familiar one bit where the area is where you had this problem…but I beginning to think there are areas (and people like the woman you mentioned) but those areas/people are everywhere nowadays. I’ve lived in CA my whole looooong life and also long enough to remember how fun and clean it was. IMO….not so much anymore.

My comment about “vitlmx” was just to say this site is changing and vital is imo not a good direction. Time will tell I guess.

The good guys was in the same area as Florin Mall, the other side of town, which was a ghetto slum also. It didn’t used to be, but turned into one eventually. My mom and I were taken hostage there at the good guys on April 4 1991. I was around 15 or 16, I had just gotten my learners permit to drive and was returning a video game of all things.

I still go to the Turners in that area every now and then; there are still some remnants of the old Florin mall like the Sears building, and the entrance to the mall, but it’s mostly an outdoor strip mall now. The old good guys building has been a dollar store for some time. The general area is still a ghetto slum though.

I only risked the Florin area to check out that big asian grocery store once. I didn't have the most reliable vehicle at the time so I considered that part of the risk. The live shrimp at the store was cool, the bung not so much. My mom worked in the area selling real estate, if not for too long. A nice man told her someone would kill her for her ring.

I remember when I was working out at 24hr Fitness (now Chuze) and the Wal-mart next door was getting robbed. I heard the helicopters and police and I just kept on working out. Same area where Florin mall used to be.

I grew up going to all the Asian markets around the area; I’m a chink so it works for me.
