Hey y’all bittersweet but I have to bow out til the next rendezvous. I got dispatched for work for Monday and have a ton of OSHA stuff to complete by then. I’m no flake but when the job beckons I must follow it. I hope to see you all at the next one! Hopefully soon!

I would be interested. I usually shoot blm land near beaumont, but i would be willing to drive to meet up. Been looking to make some friends that shoot. All of my buddies like to shoot, but none of them will buy any guns.
I have a nice thrower machine and an 8 target dueling tree i could bring.

My schedule varies so i wouldn't be able to commit to every meet, but I could move things around to try to make as many as possible.

That was HOT AF! It was nice meeting everyone. Thanks for coming out, helping setup, bringing targets, sharing drinks/food, cleaning up, kept the place clean, going to the right meet up place, sticking it out in the heat, and most importantly everyone was being safe and professional. I got some decent practice in and mostly sighted in my 2 rifles. I also claimed one dead apple and one dead watermelon. It was so hot that I was done right after setting up. Who was it that thought it's a good idea to go target shooting in the middle of the desert in this heat??

Sounds like y’all had a good time.
As to the weather, from my experience attending/hosting events near the Ridgecrest area, April and November are usually the best. We like to have a night shoot on Friday before campfire, followed by the main event on Saturday morning. All the participants help haul all the steel back to the truck after it’s done, so we are usually heading back in the late afternoon, and home by dinner/bed time.
