Event BLM target practice meetup in IE?

Updated list and some more information.

I'm planning to camp there the night before (Friday 5/30). If you're interested in camping, I will make a note to send you the meet up time and location a few days before to confirm. For those who are coming on the day of (Sat 5/31), I will also send you the time and meet up location a few days before. Once everyone is at the meet up location, we will head to the exact location. You have to physically be at the meetup location to get to the shooting spot. Unfortunately I won't send out the exact coordinate for the shooting spot if you can't make it to the meeting spot. Cars won't make it to the shooting location but will make it just before we turn off from the main gravel road. Some high ground clearance is necessary but 2WD is ok. I will lead slowly and the last car will have a walkie talkie just to make sure everyone is safe and on track.

For the shooting setup, I'm thinking of setup up in A formation (one side for pistols and one side for rifles). We'll say hello to get the awkwardness out of the way, go through some safety rules, unpack, setup, have some fun.

For camping, I'll have some firewood, some food, drinks, snacks. Feel free to bring just a bit extra food, drinks, and snacks if you'd like to share. Please no alcoholic drinks at this meet just to be absolutely safe.

If you have any questions or suggestions at all please let us know know.

I tried to order my first handgun and it looks like 2-3 weeks out not including 10 day DROS. I might not have a gun yet in 1 month. I will attend if it come on time.

New to this forum but used to post a lot on calguns and still active on reddit caguns. Life is pretty busy right now but hoping one day I can meet up.

I can bring an extra handgun if you buy the ammo for it. I also have holsters and some belts depending on your size.

About how much ammo should we bring?

I would say at least 250 rounds of pistol ammo but probably 500 rounds just to give yourself some room. It all depends on how much and how fast you want to shoot. Rifles take more time for me so 100 rounds of each caliber is more than enough for me with rifles. Feel free to bring extra firearms. If people want to shoot it they can use their ammo or you can work out a trade testing out other's guns in exchange.

I just got an email that a spot opened up for an advanced pistol class I signed up on the waiting list months ago for on this coming Saturday. Unfortunately I am going to bow out of this one, but home to be at the next.
