Event BLM target practice meetup in IE?

Anyone in IE interested in getting together on BLM land to camp and target practice about once a month? I'm hoping to get a small group of responsible and safe people (5-10) to meet up regularly for a quick overnight trip to camp and shoot. Safety and leave no trace are the priorities.
I’m down for the day shoot I’m in the IE

I'm going to head to Costco on Friday and I'll pick up a couple bags of apples and a few watermelons. I'm also planning on bringing a cooler with bottled water to share. I have a bunch of paper targets that I'll bring, but nothing to hang them on. Let me know if there's anything else I should be looking at bringing. (Other than the obvious, like my guns, ammo, holster, sunscreen, etc.)

I’ll also bring watermelons and a case of water. I have a bunch of scrap 2x4’s to make stands for your paper targets if you like me to bring them. Also, does anyone have a canopy?

I just bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDXWFR2R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 and am watching videos to learn how to set it up. I'm bringing a couple Cliq chairs, as well.

We can definitely build some stands with your 2x4s if nobody else is bringing stands with them.

Seems a bit late for me to join but if you guys do this again another time I'd love to come along.
We’re meeting up at the location this Saturday. It’ll be my first time so I’m looking forward to meeting you all. With that said, contact OP about this weekend

For all those coming out this weekend, I have a keltec sub 2000 Gen 2 plus 1 mag that I’ll be bringing but not shooting if anyone wants to have a go at it. Just provide your own 9mm ammo, extra g19, g17 or freedom week mags and sight it in. I’m curious to see how it performs in this weekends’ weather.

I have a canopy, 2 beach umbrellas, a small table, a few chairs that I will bring. I also have about 4 paper target stands for the pistol range side. I'll try to build a few more paper target stands for the rifle side. I have a bunch of printed paper target that you can use to zero your rifles at 100 yards. I also have several wood posts and horizontal bar stands to put fruits on. I'll also have extra water and some snacks to share.

Awesome everyone is bring a bunch of stuff 🎉.

In terms of things not mentioned that I think we should bring... some of the 'boring stuff':
  • ⚕️First aid kit
  • Shovel (nature calls)
    • Toilet paper
  • Rake + dustpan (for collecting rounds)
    • Strong magnet would be nice for anyone shooting steel case
  • Trash can + garbage bags
  • More folding tables + chairs
  • (Beach) Towel could double as shooting mat
Beyond the guns + ammo and food/snacks + water I'm bringing:

Range
  • 2x Paper target stands
  • A couple of 1" x 2" to stick targets on 🙂
    • *Hammer
  • Paper and reactive targets
  • Range finder
  • *Basic gun maintenance tools and cleaning kit
  • *First aid kit
Camping
I'll probably end up bringing more than I need but we're not far from a Walmart so if we forget anything I don't think it's a big deal, looking forward to this!

P.S: *'ing things that are edited

I ordered a camping toilet with privacy tent. I’m hoping I get it by Friday

Updated list of names. I've sent out the latest info to the people below for this Saturday. A bit of ground clearance is needed but no need for 4x4 to get to the shooting location. If you're a safe, legal gun owner, and interested in joining feel free to send me a DM.

I'll be bringing three target stands with cardboard targets. Too bad no steel targets allowed.

Also have a shot timer.

Hopefully this goes better then the person I met up with this week to shoot long range 22lr 😂

We planned on shooting 200-400 yards. Dude said he was an experienced shooter with a quality 22. He shows up with a bone stock 10/22 with iron sights. Luckily I brought an extra rifle and at least he got to hit the long gong a few times before he called it a day

I ended up with 5 paper target stands, 2 wooden post stands for fruits and other biodegradable targets. I have plenty of printed 100 yards MOA zero in targets and pistol diagnostic targets.
