If you can find a local FFL that will not charge you a huge amount of $$ to deliver, you can have some of the online companies like HSL deliver bulk orders for about $260 with shipping.I've actually never bought ammo online before and was looking for some recommended sites. Please share which places you've had good experiences with and which places one should avoid!
HSL is good ammo and I’ve bought a decent bit of it, but worth noting that the bulk stuff at those prices is generally reman using processed once-fired brass, not factory-new ammo. So it’s not quite an apples-to-apples price comparison with new factory ammo.If you can find a local FFL that will not charge you a huge amount of $$ to deliver, you can have some of the online companies like HSL deliver bulk orders for about $260 with shipping.

Check Black Basin. Black Basin websiteThe last few times I've tried to buy my favorite ammo at Target Sports USA they were out of stock, and out of stock with my second, third, fourth, and other choices. The only options were no-name brands with mixed reviews.
Same issue with Velocity. My favorite ammo is Sellier & Bellot FMJ 124gr. So hard to find lately.
I'm going to try some other places. I have an FFL03/COE.
Thanks! If I place my FFL03/COE with a few companies I should be able to get the ammo I want.Check Black Basin. Black Basin website
Do us a favor and delete that so they can keep doing it.You are welcome!
I got you dog. FFL03/COE accepted only downside is shipping, for me it $17.99. But no sales tax upfront or excise tax. $267.79 for a case OTDThe last few times I've tried to buy my favorite ammo at Target Sports USA they were out of stock, and out of stock with my second, third, fourth, and other choices. It was struck down ("Rhodes") but put on hold while the appeal is in progress. Never actually went into effect but some vendors jumped the gun for a couple of days.Am I missing something? Over a year ago ammunition purchase background checks were struck down by 9th circuit appellate Court. I haven't bought ammo in a few months, but some** online retailers that were already shipping to FFLs started shipping direct to any CA address...(Hypothetically...)...
I believe you have to pay sales tax on your FTB tax form, but there is no obligation to pay the 11% excise tax-Question- if you have ffl03 and coe, and buy from website that doesn’t collect tax and arrives to our door step……do we still have to pay tax,,,,,if so where do I pay it?
Thanks for the link! How are you connected to this company? Love the site and they seems to have my favorite ammo in stock (which you linked). Thanks!I got you dog. FFL03/COE accepted only downside is shipping, for me it $17.99. But no sales tax upfront or excise tax. $267.79 for a case OTD
