Curious, could it be because some rifles are not on the drop down list (California compliant list I assume) when they look it up?A lot of them hate doing it and charge insane amounts, I've seen as high as 250$. Those same FFLs also never have anything cool in stock...
I remember when I was looking for a CZ Scorpion, a FFL close to me told me they couldn't do it because it was not on the drop down list and this was just a transfer from a shop in San Diego to Torrance, Ca. Also, when I first started looking for the CZ, I was told by Turners that the rifle had to be shipped to their store in Arizona (or maybe they had it there already) where it would be made California Compliant, then it would ship here.
Would it be safe to say that ANY rifle can be transferred/shipped as long as it's made California Compliant?
