Century wasr-m 9mm. It takes Glock Mags. It's an ugly looking gun but sometimes you can find the version with plastic furniture for a good price.

There is 1 big downside to the wasr-m. The 9mm magwell adapter is made of a cheaper polymer opposed to like a magpul or glock, and can break over time.Century wasr-m 9mm. It takes Glock Mags. It's an ugly looking gun but sometimes you can find the version with plastic furniture for a good price.
That's the one! Tandemkross. That's where I got the aftermarket parts from.
Which specific parts did you get and swap into the PC carbine?Ruger pc carbine. Swap internal parts for metal aftermarket ones.
Recoil spring retainer was plastic, changed it.Which specific parts did you get and swap into the PC carbine?
Were any of the original parts that you removed made of plastic?
You can't really get that here unless you go through a middle man to convert it to CA legal, hence the suggestion to buy a lower. Best bet is go to your local shops and see what they have converted already if you want to buy a complete, you are gonna spend twice as much though than if you put it together yourself. .Hey gents, thanks for all of the ideas. I used to have a AR PCC that I built with a 9mm Spikes Tactical lower (colt pattern mags) and a Foxtrot Mike side charging handle. The reliability wasn't great so I ended up selling it. I probably could have done more work to diagnose it but my concern is that if I get a lower from one person and and upper from another, I don't know who to point the figure at if its not working.
I'd prefer to buy something from the manufacturer just in case there are issues and I have to send it back. Given that, I would like to get something from a vendor that runs on Day 1.
I'm happy to look at the Ruger PCC but prefer something that looks a little cooler. If my budget is about $2K (plus or minus a little), that leads me to either the Ruger PCC, the Scorpion EVO, or something else in that price range.
Has anyone ever shot one of these:

Ruger PC wouldn't even come close to $1,000 even after buying aftermarket parts.Hey gents, thanks for all of the ideas. I recently have been interested in the PCC market.I'm interested in getting into Pistol Caliber Carbines for fun shooting and maybe some competition (IDPA).
I've been looking at the following:
Scorpion EVO
Sig MPX
Springfield Saint Victor
Stribog SP9A3G
I have extra Colt 9mm SMG mags and extra Glock Mags (who doesn't).
Am I missing any? Any recommendations?
What area are you in? I have a good guy in SacramentoSo Turners has the S&W Response Carbine and the Ruger PC in stock, Riflegear has the Stribog in stock, and Wilde Built Tactical in San Diego has the following in stock:
According to their website and my conversation with them, WBT purchases the firearms outside of California, converts them to a California Legal configuration. You can pick them up at their store or they can ship to a local FFL. The challenge then is getting a local FFL who will do the transfer.
- Scorpion EVO 3
- Daniel Defense PCC
- LWRC IC-9
- Century Arms AP5-L
- POF Phoenix
- Springfield Saint Victor
- Zenith ZF-5L
- PSA PX9
- PSA AR-V
- Sig MPX
- PRT 9R
- Kris Vector
I live in Riverside, between Elsinore and Corona. I was going to Warrior One in Riverside but they closed. What area are you in? I have a good guy in Sacramento
Ah ok. Yeah look for a home FFL, they will often do it for a much lower transfer fee. Sone FFLs want 125 bucks just to relieve a mail order transfer.I live in Riverside, between Elsinore and Corona. I was going to Warrior One in Riverside but they closed.
Why is this a challenge? The challenge then is getting a local FFL who will do the transfer.
A lot of them hate doing it and charge insane amounts, I've seen as high as 250$. Those same FFLs also never have anything cool in stock...Why is this a challenge?
