News $53 Silver and $4200 Gold hits All Time High!

Latest news
Look at the spike up in platinum!! Gold never rested.
Indeed crazy! Can't wait for the " movers and shakers" to sell in order to shop for something!

seriously.. we've cross over $102 now! this isn't good...
$103.92 right now, this instant...

Things I've read recently all claim that Ag has been "artificially suppressed" for several decades now, and is finally adjusting to its true value, relative to Au, and relative to its importance as a strategic metal in electronics, defense, and other industrial applications. Plus, China is buying up all they can, trying to replace the U.S. hegemon petro-dollar with their... Yuan... Yawn? :)

I suppose the real question is how much paper is out there with nothing to back it?
All of it?

A single U.S. quarter minted roughly around the time I was born (or earlier) is worth $18.60 right now, just in melt value. That's crazy. Don't know what it means for the world, not smart enough. All I know is I want to trade in some more of my discretionary dollars for the real deal.

Just looked at your link. If "Gold Holdings" totals are correct, the U.S. has — by far — the largest gold reserves of any country in the world. 3x more than China. If true, China has a long ways to go before replacing our hegemon petro-dollar with their Yawn...

I assume all of our gold is held at Fort Knox?

But does anybody know for sure what's REALLY there? When was the last time a transparent audit was done of our gold reserves in Fort Knox, an audit available to the U.S. public and the world?

It could be all lead bars with 24K gold plating, for all I know.

They have a manufacturing engine plus you have to look at it as an aggregate not a silo. Yes, the US "has" the most, but growing GDP and mining can move countries back to it. If the US does what it might do and prints more money, while the rest of the countries sell US debt, its a double whammy.

Collectively, the EU and BRICS+ has more gold and processing capacity.

Combine that with foreign countries selling their debt. It doesn't look good for the dollar if the US isolates.

Too many people think about the US as the "only" super power country, but there's an inadvertent shift to a New World Order if you will and the shift is speeding up. Sadly the US is losing relevancy and we've been using the dollar as a weapon. Now everything is spiking up, likely from people dumping dollars and buying gold shifting to the real reserve asset. Gold and Silver only activate when things become uncertain.

I have been in physical gold and silver for a quite a while. I followed all the gold news 4-5 years ago. I remember everyone saying "...the s*#t is going to hit the fan if gold ever hits $5000..."

But, here we are on the doorstep of this happening.

This will be an interesting adventure. I figured when gold would be 5k and silver 100 stocks would be at an all time low and the economy would be in rougher shape. TO be clear I am not saying the economy is trouble free.

At the moment it looks like the economy will just keep stomping its way forward. With some assets charging forward in the process and others lagging. The past 10 years it was housing prices hitting the moon and it looks like now it is gold and silver.

This is why it is important to have your money in a little bit of everything, because it is difficult to impossible to tell what asset is set to break out next.

I think everyone is afraid of inflation and a weakening dollar. So holding anything but cash is where people have ran to.

LIfe will always go on. If we look at the countries that have gone through this before like Argentina, those positioned accordingly prospered more then others but it was not mad max survival. They took 13 zeros off their currency. A million dollars down to one dollar twice+.
This time most of the world governments are in the same debt spiral. It will be tough but the history of man up until recently has been subsistence living, working hard just to get by. The borrowing has people living above their means for too long.

That’s the thing… lol it’s going up a bit faster than I’d like.
I see estimates of 250 to 1. And there is plenty of other paper out there with absolutely nothing but hocus pocus to back it. There is a quadrillion dollars of derivatives, 10 times the world’s GDP. I realize this is notational value and not cost, but how many of these crossover underlying assets far exceeding their value?

Silver futures $109.32 and gold futures $5091.50
