I dunno if I would call this a dip... so much as returning towards the 30day moving avg (still above it). Took a small position into IAU @89.09. Watch for possible rotation to crypto.

I almost want to buy more silver this morning but can't bring myself to do it. :ROFLMAO:
I laughed at all the guys who cashed in their gold and bought silver with it. I did the opposite - I sold 9 lbs of silver and bought gold. We will see who is laughing in the end, me or them - or both!

I also made a small swap. I would have liked to have done more but I still think a more favorable GSR is in the cards within a few years. Precious metals are hard to time for making a quick buck but easy investing for long term wealth preservation. I have heard it argued that deflaton proceeds hyperinflation, it is a hard combo to come out a winner in. How will the average person "owe nothing" and be happy with a UBI?

none of it is driven by the guys buying gold bars at Costco and selling them at pawnshops. Ditto for the guys clearing out their junk silver. They don't exist as far as wall street is concerned.

Is gold and silver really the move over stocks? How did other countries do on their stocks when their economies tanked?
Stock markets typically rise rapidly with severe inflation but when the currencies are eventually reset the valuations/earnings are reset along with the fiat currency in which they are measured. But stocks do keep up better than many other asset classes. There are plenty of first hand accounts from the past to learn from, I found this housewife's account of survival interesting.

"Speculation on the stock exchange
has spread to all ranks of the population, and shares rise like air-balloons to limitless heights.
How can people fail to have their heads turned? Rudi and my banker congratulate me on every
new rise, but they do not dispel the secret uneasiness which my growing wealth arouses in me.
I have plenty of use for this wealth, which already amounts to millions and without which I and
my family would have starved before now."

so, who here bought gold and silver at the height and are checking the prices multiple times per day to see if the price will spike and they can dump their metals and break even?

Just hold onto it. The height hasn't come yet and if you were buying for a quick buck, you're doing it wrong.
