Hey Guys
I’m seeing mixed reviews on the Zaffiri P365 Comp. Anyone have 1? User error or bad quality?

It’s weird one day I googled and got a bunch of bad stuff and now I can’t find that many bad experiences.

From what I've read, they aren't quite as effective as the Radians, but they still work well. I've used other Zaffiri barrels and slides and have never had an issue. With the route DOJ has been going on any kind of comp here in CA though, idk if I'd even wanna risk using one on a carry gun.

the Zaffiri comp is completely threadless so would have no legal issues. Zaffiri quality control may be another issue, perhaps source from a place with easy returns

I must be out of the loop, what has been going on with the DOJ and comps?

They are saying that the sig p211 gto is threaded and therefore illegal. The comp does require like a quarter turn to engage and install so sure, it's a "thread". The zaffiri has no locking lug that requires turning to engage so I don't believe they would be able to call it "threaded"

As said, they have apparently decided the lug system on the Sig p211 is considered a "threaded barrel". From what I've heard, they have decided the same for the Radian comps since they announced a suppressor that attaches to them without the need for a threaded barrel. Kinda sounds like DOJ is heading towards proclaiming any pistol muzzle attachment system as a threaded barrel, regardless of how it actually attaches. For that reason, I probably wouldn't use a Radian or Zaffiri comp on a carry gun, just to be safe. Go ported barrel or integrated slide comp instead.
