The Magpul grip is nice and thin. I've got small/medium hands and it was quite a bit more comfortable to me. The texture is the same as their MOE grips, grippy but not aggressive. The polymer itself also has some texture to it, it's not the smooth polymer most others use. It was a big enough difference that I went from hating my M18 to actually really liking it.

I've got their comped slide/ported barrel combo on my XMacro. Very nice quality, good finish, and with that combo, the thing legit has negative recoil, it recoils down slightly if you're rapid firing, haha.

Yep. As far as I know, pretty much every single aftermarket grip module will require that. The only place I've seen that has a CA option is Icarus.

So, I’m hearing IA dissects it “if” after a defensive scenario. I don’t think, “bought it that way” technically would be a good enough argument. There would probably need to be some proof that that specific serial number had a QC issue where they forgot to install the MD from the factory; if it’s the California model. The risk would just be not being able to carry again after that.

If you've been arrested and facing charges for a shooting, that small technicality is by far the least of your concerns lol. That is such a low probability outcome, almost silly in a real life case. Worst case is what, they take away your license? You were already losing it anyways if they are trying to send you to prison.

I tried the WC grip years ago as I really liked how they looked but they just didnt work for me (XL gloves hands) the backstrap didnt feel right when shooting it vs the X grips.
It almost felt like it made the recoil harsher

I wear a 8/small size glove so that’s why. If someone has large or extra large hands I think this grip would be worse than the OEM M18 grip which is pretty thick even in medium

I would want to continue to legally carry concealed; due to the possibility of retaliation. If it’s a justifiable defensive scenario (I.e.: victim of an armed robbery); it would be the civil portion I’d be more worried about.

I’m not sure if they would even allow changing of the grip module for the sig p320? I know it has to be in its factory configuration. So, changing to even the WC or magpul grip could be considered a mod.

Seems like so far to not deal with California safety features is either choose older on roster options or buy off roster.

Just my opinion, due to how the policy is written, I would rather just pay my way to not deal with California safety features by going off roster. Currently, I’m still on gen 3 Glocks I bought on calguns back then, but still trying to decide on off roster options.

It works with the CA version or the non CA version. Only difference is the CA model has a cutout for the mag disconnect, doesn't hurt anything if you remove it.

Sign up with someone like CCW safe. Most guns do not have a magazine disconnect, it has nothing to do with a civil suit if you shoot someone.

Doesn’t Brentwood’s policy require the pistols on the permit to be on roster?
