Yep, you’re ready. You could load some with lower charge weights and some with higher charges so you can compare the feel and performance, but as long as you’re not chasing a particular power factor, it sounds like you have a good load there. Despite the slight variances in specs you’re getting at 4.0 grains with a 1.140” OAL, they will all probably feel pretty much the same to you as you shoot them, and when you finish shooting those 20 rounds, you’ll wish you had loaded a few hundred more.I just loaded 20 rounds of xtreme bullets following the measurements mentioned in this graphic above.
I started messing with the bullet seating depth and have one that measures as low as 1.130 and as high as 1.142
The majority between 1.138-1.141
I used tite group 4.0gr (may be a few 3.9 or 4.1) but the powder was very consistent at 4.0. —(4.0 is 95% of 4.2gr)
Do you guys think I should be ok with these measurements so I can head out to the range and see if my gun likes them??
They pass the plunk test on gauge and barrel on my M&P, everything seems great.
