What's the coolest gun a friend has loaned you to shoot?

A replica of the Quigly Down Under rifle in 45-110.
A very sweet double set trigger that was so light just the slightest thought of firing would set it off.
I was surprised at how well balanced it was when shouldered, no effort at all to maintain a shouldered stance while on target.
The recoil was relatively mild, and caused the barrel to rise rather than kick back into your shoulder.
 
A Laugo Arms Alien. Unbelievable. Hard to describe how smooth this shoots. The science on it is amazing.
 
Way back in college my friend owned the big 3 of WW2 German automatic arms: MP40, STG44, and MG42, which we shot out in the woods of Western Pa. This was in the mid 70s.
 
A Merkel .470NE, and a box of ammunition to use in it for the day.

I lent my Rigby .416 bolt rifle to a friend to use for an Alaskan bear hunt. He was successful.
 
Shot a friends Desert tech bull pup with a trijicon tenmile 4.5-30 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Crazy nice rifle.
 
To me….. 240B. Not really a loan, I didn’t take it w me without him there. But was cool. I’ve shot them plenty of times in my military career but doing it in a civilian environment….. awesome. Sucks that I paid for everything I shot (about 800rds), but sh*t was fun 😬

Shooting your siblings is ill-advised!
 
Not loaned, but got to fire a few rounds through each a Winchester 1897 and a Browning A5. I am a shotgun guy and I just thought those two were the coolest. The auto loading, how the barrel cycles with the bolt, shells are captured and don't fall out when shot sideways, the ease of unloading. Now I have one of each on layaway lol.
