I always tell people this about the p365, the Hogue grip sleeve changes a lot for that gun. Gives you enough grip while keeping the overall size of the gun still small.
or swap in a different grip module

I got the base p365 thinking I needed a small gun to conceal well. I’ve since learned a little extra size doesn’t make concealment much harder, so I got a WC XL grip module and it shoots MUCH better but conceals just as easily. The extra width in the grip makes a huge difference. I might have even gotten the longer slide or the comp in retrospect

Yeah it's kind of a myth almost. I tried carrying my P226 MK25 IWB and with just a loose t shirt it is fine LOL doesn't even print. My P2000SK with a tight athletic polo prints quite more, so I'd almost say the clothes matter more than the gun for that. I think a true subcompact is probably the sweet spot between daily CCW and shootability. The micro's are just too small, but they are super easy to carry in anything. My shield weighs nothing

In the past I have heard a lot of people claim that .380 was just not a good choice for self defense especially compared to 9mm
I'm glad this Fudd lore has finally been debunked. 380 is more than enough power for self defense use.

As for the BG 2.0, I got my order in for the non-carry comp model. For my particular use case, I just realized that I didn't really need the comp, even though I recognize that the comp model is the objectively better gun on the range overall. I may end up buying a comp model as well later on.

I mean everyone roasts .22 but nobody ever volunteers to get shot by one. With good placement and the ranges for CCW .380 in a modern gun is more definitely more than enough.

My 16/7 carry (don’t carry while sleeping haha!!) is a NAA .22 mag revolver loaded with Hornady Critical Defense. I’ll add a carry if I’m feeling the situation may be spicy.

I have a Ruger LCRx 3" chambered in 22 mag. I love the caliber and you can really notice the increased power over a 22lr.
I was gonna say .22 Mag is a bit different from LR lol, I still wouldn't volunteer to be shot by either though.

I was hoping this illegal 11% tax would be gone by now but looks like it will be hung up in the courts.I will be considering the body guard 2.0 to add to ccw but also like the Sheild X

Yeah I wish I’d listened to the LGS side who tried to tell me to get the rose/larger slide. It actually helps concealment because the slide goes further down and cants the rear of the gun towards your body. I was thinking smaller = better. Lesson learned. I am carrying my DWX compact more than the p365 now and that’s roughly g19 size but a little thinner

Yeah like a ship listing, it's weird. However you can get something like the Vedder Holster wedge for $10 and that fixes that plus adds some comfort. I will say though even though I can carry the P226, which sounds comical because it's a full size metal gun, it is heavy and I noticed that kind of sucks pretty fast. Plus, only 3 CCW spots anyways...

Also side note, I've carried with too tight of a shirt multiple times and the amount of printing is almost comical and literally nobody notices (or if they do they don't care or say anything) lmfao... I proved it to my friend that's new to guns and worried being in LA. Same thing with the youtube guy that says you can't have a gun brand anything on you, or the bad guys will instantly dome you - if you have a HK or grunt style t shirt apparently. Literally nobody pays attention

Yea people just are not looking at you like that

Well we’ve done it now!! I got a voicemail from Triple A during work today asking if I still wanted the Bodyguard 2.0 CC.
My first thought was “Well 💩, my wife’s gonna have me go get this ASAP.”
They got 5 and sold them all in a day.

Just got home from Triple A. Ordered some Pearce grips and a Gideon pebble optic for it.
