Submitted LASD CCW Renewal Application 87 Days After Expiration. Am I Still Eligible for Renewal?

I just submitted my LASD renewal application tonight, 87 days after my ccw expired. Permitium allowed me to submit, and there was even a pop up from LASD halfway through that said it's almost been 90 days since my permit expired, so I should compete the application ASAP. From everything I read, you can submit your LASD renewal application up to 90 days after expiration and still be eligible for renewal. Am I reading that all right? I know I could and should have submitted my app 90 days, or at least some time, prior to expiration, but I am the Procrastination King. I couldn't really find any discussion of a similar situation on the interwebs. I live in an area where LASD no longer provides initial licenses, only renewals for those grandfathered in. I am hopefully waiting for the email to proceed with training at this point. Thank you all.

There are some other wrinkles as well. Mine expires late October. I was thinking it would be clever to postpone a bit so it wouldn't issue til after the start of the year, but then I discovered that won't help....to qualify for 3 year, application must go in after Jan1.

Worse!!!! It looks like they are going to make me take another live scan. Oh well, just another California obstacle placed in our path
