After many years in both the retail/wholesale firearms industry, I like shooting centerfire guns, but have REALLY taken to shooting 22 rimfire guns, both long guns and pistols, especially older made 22 guns...
My group of shooting buddies (those that are still alive that is) and I have long developed a system of shooting that we call "22 Afternoons"---that is, we shoot our usual centerfire pistols and rifles in the morning (before a lunch break), and then after lunch, we as a group, shoot exclusively just 22s---a real fun time, almost like a shooting gallery feel---shooters young and old plinking away with various 22s... A real family feel too, without spending too much money on ammo.
