Question Solano County Timeline

Renewal or new applicant? New Sheriff has mixed reviews vs the Old one. Took 3 months to change some info on a current permit . You can now apply for renewal 6 months early but still can’t take the class until they give you the green light. Looks like 90 days may be the new norm for renewal. I did my last renewal 60 days early and my permit still expired for more than a month before I was issued a new one. Next time I’ll apply 120 days early.

Sorry, I neglected to specify. I'm mostly interested in the new applicant timeline but the renewal timeline information is also helpful.
