Smith & Wesson Classics line (10, 19, 36) added to the roster

Just got added today.

Model 10, Model 19, Model 36. These are all part of the new "No Lock" Classics line, as far as I'm aware. Personally I might pick up the Model 10. I already have a 19 with a lock, and while no lock is nicer, it's not a big enough deal to get another one.

If this thread has already been posted somewhere, feel free to nuke this one.

19s are great! I have 4 of them. 2 inch 4 inch and 2 6 inchers.... Love them all.

Add the Model 10 2" snub, please! Don't see these doing well when you can still get nice shooter grade C&Rs with up to 90% original finish for a lot less, like in the $500-$700 range.

I snagged a nice older Model 36 in a deal on Calguns a couple of years back. I like them going back tonheritage, but honestly prices and QC make it a pass for me.

I’s like to support this because it might get S&W to completely discontinue the Hillary Hole. But, it would have been nice if they had spent another 3 minutes paying attention to the furniture/metal interfaces. As they sit now, they can keep them.

I might take a chance on one of them new model 27’s. Probably the 4 inch model. I gotta see it in person and check out the bluing. I don’t expect it to be as good as what’s on the Python, but hopefully it’s nice.

Should I ? I've been looking to replace the one I let get away many years ago. It was a S&W, Mod 10, 6 inch, pencil barrel. It was issued to me in the Academy July 1981.

As others have stated, high price, low QC. I would pick one up if you want one, just make sure you inspect it carefully before you start the paperwork on it.

The canted barrel issue is on probably 20% of all new revolvers right now. Both of my new production Python and Anaconda had canted barrels when I went to buy them. I had to have new ones shipped in in both instances, and thankfully the second one of each had properly mounted barrels.

Other than Colts, I've seen laughably bad barrel mounting jobs on Rugers, particularly SP101s.

Plus they still have lock frames- it’s a pass from me
