Sig Sauer P322 on roster

SIG got their latest 22lr pistol added to the roster today. Looks cool.

Their QC standard for that pistol is that if it does 4 rounds in a string out of 10 that it is good to go.

What's up with QC with Sig lately? Is it just P320 or all across the product lines wth poor QC?
I remember reading that for M9 pistol trial, Sig P226 actually outperformed Beretta 92 and only lost due to price point.

My p322 is awesome. 

I have 2000 rounds through it. A handful light primer strikes. Probably due to 10+ year old ammo. Second strike no problem.

No real issues so far. Leaps and bounds better than my mosquito or my AA glock 17 conversion.

I put a romeo zero on it and it runs fine. The optic sucks, but works fine for a rimfire gun.

If this guy is not full of it ( does not look like it) then Sig likely to be be sued into oblivion. So you may end up owning piece of history.

Even if Sig survives the way they handle this mess so far is less than inspiring. I am not convinced they deserve support of firearm community.

P322 may be decent gun I have no opinion on the matter. Bit I do have an opinion on the company who did not throw every single tester at apparent problem of such magnitude. Some guy in garage finds this and not Sig QA?

You shoot one? I've only messed with the non-roster version, but it was super fun and very reliable after a few hundred rounds. Sig sucks, but this gun is a hit. Much better than the G44 (which is also pretty damn fun).

Well that would be a great debate in one of the numerous p320 threads.

There's definitely many videos out there of early p322 (pre california roster) that are mediocre pieces of crap.

Typical sig to use the consumer as a beta tester.

Glad I got a good one, and I'm looking forward to hearing from other california p322 owners as to how theirs are running.

Being in california, we don't have a plethora of options like free states. This is one of the few similar in features and size to a full sized duty gun/ccw gun. So it is noteworthy for us stuck with a roster.

And I do not disagree with you in theory. If we would all would be robots that are do not include any emotional component in our discussion that discussion of Sig 322 would not bring any mention of Sig 320.
But we are who we are. Assuming that Sig survives this at all any Sig related post will be replied with "but Sig P320". it is just a reality.

I have a P322 and it’s very reliable. I was at the range this past weekend and put 200 rounds through it and had 3 fail to fire which may have been ammo related. I’m very happy with it and super fun to shoot. It got fouled up but it was still running strong. I’m curious how many more rounds it could’ve taken before the fouling caused more failures.

I have one. It has been completely reliable. I don't shoot it much. Maybe 900 rounds so far.
My issue is that the trigger sucks i can't figure out how to adjust it.

It’s the mag disconnect safety that binds on the mags and doesn’t allow them to drop freely. Not advocating that anyone intentionally remove a safety feature, but if you happen to fully disassemble the gun for a thorough cleaning and that mag disconnect safety falls off the work bench in the process, then that would solve the mag drop issue.

From what I read online, that the mag disconnect also prevents aftermarket triggers such as the tandem kross?

I wonder if companies will come out with aftermarket enhanced s7 steel firing pins in the future; similar to the walther p22?
