Been wanting to join the "1 Mile Club" -- get out and see if you can get your rifle on targets from 600 - 1800 yds. See if your 6.5 Creedmoor can handle it, bring your 7 PRC, or even .338.
This will be a more relaxed shooting day at your own pace. BBQ lunch served.
ONLY 15 spots available. Deposit will be required to hold your spot.

Hey 22 plinker - you should come out to our 22lr match - Sat. May 24th. Check out our calendar at www.socallrclub.com

I'll take a look, thanks. How far out are the 22lr targets? All I have is red dots on my 22's so I'd need to mount a scope if it's a long distance.

Can you attend just to spectate?

Thanks

Matt

EDIT: I'm actually watching a video of a recent match right now
EDIT2: those are some serious looking 22lr rigs..

We usually have one stage that goes out to about 250 yds. The rest of the stages are inside 200 yds. Yeah, it's designed for scoped rifles.

You are welcome to come just check it out. We should also have a loaner 22 rifle pretty soon. I would let you shoot mine, but I already have 3 people using that rifle in the next match - maybe 4 lol.

Sign up on practiscore so we know to admit you onto the private property. The gate is closed once the match starts, so you'd need to come early.

We also have precision centerfire practice the same day on a different part of the property.

Got it, thanks for the info!

I'll register if I'm able to come just to check it out and PM you to let you know. I've never competed before so it would be the first time attending one.

I would probably feel more comfortable putting a scope on and shooting at that distance before entering a competition.

All great info and resources to further expand the shooting experience.

When you come out, we can help you mount your scope right and let you zero the rifle and test at distance, even if you don't shoot the match. Just come out early.

Awesome, thank you!

I have no prob mounting and zeroing, just haven't been in a competition yet. I'll know in the next day or so if I can attend.

I really appreciate the offer to help though!

Matt

Yeah, I didn't mean that as a negative that you needed help. Just that we'll have targets set up at 50 yds and at range to validate your dope.

Of course, I didn't take it negatively and do appreciate the offer!

I'll welcome any help when trying something new but I have plenty of experience mounting scopes and zeroing in.

Looking forward to checking one of these out sometime hopefully sooner than later.

Thanks again

Matt
