If your IA specifies no modifications it’s one way to get around it. Also the slide is machined. It’s available on Turners right now for about $680 which is a pretty good deal. Offsets the 11% tax. I have one and like it so far. Only real drawback was finding a holster which I found a Kydex one from SharkCoast Tactical directly. I’m sure if you can find a local manufacturer they could whip one up.
