Semi-auto handgun barrel work needed

Does anyone know of a gunsmith that will cut, thread, and re-crown a semi-auto handgun barrel? I'm located in So. Cal.

I have a barrel for which I can't find an aftermarket threaded version, but there is a long slide version of this barrel. I would like to add a comp to my handgun, and figured the long slide barrel could be worked on to make a threaded version to pin and weld a comp.
