Selling a gun on lasd ccw

Has anyone had experience selling a gun on lasd ccw within last year? From my understanding we have to do an entire training with the new list of carry guns?

Find out if you can do a change with just a shoot/qual on the new gun and do the change to take the gun you wanna sell off. That way you just do the qual with new gun(s) and get the one you wanna sell off your license. Legally you “can” but that doesnt mean the IA will accommodate you. They can say “too busy” or what not.

Also i dont think there’s any particular reason you cant just sell it and not use that “spot” on your license. Like just use the other gun only (I THINK LASD is just 2 guns right?)

Lasd is 3 guns but they have not been very helpful in clarifying. In their edit/delete firearm page they state that amending a firearm list implies you to do a whole another training course with the two other firearms that are currently on your list which sounds a bit rediculous and when I emailed them specifically about deleting a firearm they have not been very helpful referring me back to the page without any clarification on amending th list to add a new firearm vs simply deleting one off

You don't need to "delete it". You can just sell the gun. If you want to add another gun you need to get signed off by an instructor with all the forms. Mine charged me $40 and I did a range session with my two extra ccw guns and qual'd.
