I mean it was already $1,443 so $1,591 isn't as a huge a jump as it may seem at face value but either way it sucks.

It does make the $976 Santa Clara County charges seem like an even greater deal in comparison.

Local PD in LA county ran me just about $1k. IA fees were $100, the rest - livescan, training and psych eval.

My Renewal fee for Utah is a whopping $50.00 for 5 years

But really It should be free it’s your’e right and there should be no costs associated with getting your permit.
