I'd like to have the cylinder on my smith wesson 60 machined to accept 9mm with moon clips. price i see online is around 300-350+

I was about to post this very thread when I saw this. I’m also curious if anyone knows any good gunsmiths in Sac (or even the Bay Area) who do work on 1911s.

It’d be nice to have a sticky that gets updated for each region with gunsmiths, shops with good deals on ammo, etc

Give Craig Maraviov a call, he's out of Woodland and is the only local snith I'd trust for machining work on a S&W revolver

I use the gun range gunsmith he seems competent. I used a private guy once to add some sights to my pstols and work on my $4k precision rifle... He put my m11 severe duty muzzle brake on upside down O.o

Does anybody have recommendations for a reputable AR gunsmith in the sac or sj county area?

I have a ar10 build and want to get the right, compatible parts sourced/assembled.

I use sam at the gun range he did good work for me on my pistols. I'm sure he does AR's also.
