Does anyone know the timeline for Sac Sheriff to process CCW modifications? The original permit only took like 6-7 weeks for me all in so I'm guessing it wouldn't take long just to add a gun(s)?

No longer can change a handgun that's already on your permit that has been recently issued. Can change when renewing. Then stuck with what's on the permit for two years.

No offense but if you read the thread you'll see they only took 1.5 days to give me a new permit with 2 new guns added. Applied 6/1 at midnight and it was finalized around 11:30 6/2/2026.

I think he must be talking about another IA. I got my Sac permit modified with my DWXc in like 3 days, VERY easy but costly. Didn’t someone mention a change another IA made recently?

Yes, they raped me on just a change of address too, but took just overnight for them to say it is ready for pick up. My last renewal was maybe 2 days. Price we pay to be responsible gun owners and law abiding lol.

$183 including credit card fee, the f you fee fee of $5 and $40 to the instructor to meet me at the club. Plus ammo

Yeah, I was going to actually add a gun since no extra cost, but did not feel like paying for another pistol qualification for a gun with less than a year left before I have to renew again. My other two are solid. Next year renewal though I have two new ones . I count the ammo cost during qualifying as just a range day. My instructor lets us shoot after class is over.

I wasn’t waiting 19 months to carry my PDP compact!! It’s too sick lol

Yeah I did shoot a little more after. Placer sporting club so I can shoot whenever I want as a member and never wait

Yeah sometimes they say wacky stuff which is sad. But I have the card as proof lol they made me a new one and took the old one.
