Do they rent out steel targets?Route 66 is good to go. 2 hours to use a private bay: Work from a sling, work from holsters, and shoot your own steel targets.
They have a rifle-rated full silhouette static steel target buried in the sand in each of their steel bays (in the back). They sell cardboard and clays, but I am pretty sure they don't rent steel targets.Do they rent out steel targets?
Awesome. Thanks, man. They have a rifle-rated full silhouette static steel target buried in the sand in each of their steel bays (in the back). They sell cardboard and clays, but I am pretty sure they don't rent steel targets.
They have a pistol/rimfire bay with steel targets, but you have to pay a dedicated fee to shoot at this bay.
Hahaha….That could be nearly anywhere in So Cal; newer(ish) housing tracts on terraced pads are so ubiquitous these days, and I’ve seen so many with palm trees, gazebos, pools, etc. I wouldn’t have a clue. What do you mean? Lol
alright bro, you must be a narc haha jk yea I’m in the SCV. I’m assuming you’re somewhat local? I’d be inclined to guess it might be in the region of Santa Clarita, Newhall, Valencia, Castaic, etc, etc.
Now, if it were next to the ocean, I’d be down for drinks & BBQ after surfing.
Employment related prior to retirement. It is I would say one of the better regions of Los Angeles county. Despite the fact that it gets quite warm in the summer months, and also houses the world’s largest jail, it still beats most parts of the SFV.alright bro, you must be a narc haha jk yea I’m in the SCV. Correct, one of the better locations. I am assuming because so much LE lives in the area. Yes, the heat is brutal… got to about 115 last week.Employment related prior to retirement. Are you guys setting up 3 stages in one bay? Or tearing down after each stage? We have our reguilar monthly fun match there this Saturday. It is 2 or 3 handgun stages, then a 3 gun stage. We have the range rented all day so you can stay and shoot whatever you want after the match, up until closing time. Rental range 1C - sign in and pay with us at the rental range as we pay for range rental and shooter fees. I don't know the exact depth or maximum range of that bay. WE run a match every second Saturday of the month.

We set up after each stage. It takes just a few minutes to move target stands and/or barrels, especially if everyone pitches in. Same for taping targets. No one is getting paid - everyone is a volunteer. The match starts at 9 AM and depending upon how many shooters show up, we are usually done by 1 or 2 PM. then it is open shooting on the rental bay until closing time. Are you guys setting up 3 stages in one bay? That sounds like a lot of fun. Will y'all be up there 12/14? For some reason it's a dead weekend for all the local clubs that weekend. We set up after each stage.
