I never understood how a person in arizona is more free then I am. Are we not all Americans? How does the Constitution not apply to all of us equally?

Because one party craps on the Constitution continually and doesn’t even try to hide it. The other does the same but is a little more subtle about it. Arizona is run by the more subtle party (kind of) while CA is run by the outright constitution crapping party.

Federal DOJ has filed an Amicus brief in support of Rhode.

Twenty-six states have filed a joint Amicus brief supporting Rhode.

En Banc with the 9 CA is still set for the week of 23 March 2026 in Pasadena. (Date and time not yet determined).

Don't forget the "living, breathing document" constitution following judges. To them the constitution must evolve to their interpretations, not original meaning or intent.

Without them most gun laws would be tossed out here in California.

Because a majority of people in California vote like idiots. They either vote with their hands out for whoever says they’ll give them more of our tax dollars, or they’re bleeding hearts who vote based on “making history” or whatever the current cultish social issue the TV tells them to care about.

I’ve lived in SoCal my entire life. Grew up hunting, fishing, shooting. I’ve watched first hand the state circling the drain for over 50 years. The erosion of rights, quality of life, security of the state from foreign invasion, all replaced by the nanny state. The fleecing of the taxpayers via endless bond measures that gullible voters continue to vote for (while ignorantly believing the state would only spend their money on what was “promised “ in the bond). Laws that penalize the lawful while protecting the criminal. The mismanagement of budgets so flagrant and egregious it would make a newly minted 13 year old millionaire look like an investment portfolio manager. And YES! People continue to vote for this crap. A couple friends of mine just moved to Montana. Had their car keyed. Only reason they could surmise was the fact they still had California plates on the car. I know I’m now a political minority in my home state and have been for a majority of my life. I’ve done my best to vote in a way that best reflects my convictions with the thought that there are more sane people “out there”. That maybe, just maybe, one day the majority of California voters will repudiate this never ending march to the bottom. My life is now entering the 4th quarter. The drain my home state has been circling for the better part of my life now feels so close, I wake every morning (by the grace of god) with a “swirly”. The way these court cases are manipulated have me believing that my freedom is more of an afterthought in California. It’s past time I GTFO and take my standard mags with me.

God save my home state and the sane people still “out there”. I have to get busy finding a place to live out my days, where I don’t have to worry about getting assaulted for wearing a hat that is “the wrong color “.

To those that believe in their vision of California full of rainbows, unicorns, and endless flowerbeds, I sincerely wish “they , them” the best of luck.

It certainly sends a message that the federal government, in concert with a bunch of state AGs is looking directly at 9 CA and their antics. And the involvement of the feds casts a long shadow towards SCOTUS, if needed.

I try to hold out hope. Sb2 and this parts bill have been discouraging, but I remain hopeful.

We moved 5.5 years ago but i already had neutered stuff that was legal in ca.(RAW) and standard mags.My brother in law move 4 years ago he still hasnt removed his bullet button but we have been giving him a hard time about it so its getting done next week when we install his FRT

Yup did that left a couple older Okay mags i had since early 90s for my ar.Also left it registered as a RAW in ca so i can take it back if i wanted to shoot with friends there

Essentially, USDOJ wants to talk directly to the en banc panel.
