How To: Remove staked front sight post from G21.3 slide?

Any tips on how to remove this staked front post?

Also, the rear irons are rusted. Any issues with torching it after stripping channel liner?

I would grind off the staking that is above flush inside the slide and then punch the front sight out from inside the slide.
No issues with heating the slide once the channel liner is removed but heating it won't really help because the sight will also heat up and both are steel so they will expand similarly and stay tight similarly.
Your solution to taking the rear sight out is a good sight pusher.
I recommend an MGW sight-master or sight-pro

Use a brass punch on the inside

And sight pusher for the rear with good bit of penetrating oil

Or stuff it in the freezer after using the oil and give it a few wacks with a mallet and use a pusher

Soaked overnight in PB Blaster although probably unnecessary.

- Used a Dremel with carbide burr for the staked post. Minimal collateral damage. 1 light tap with punch and hammer
- Rear sight came off very easy with the pusher

Total time was ~20 mins.
