Recommendations on Ventura County CCW Classes that aren't insane prices?

Check out Shooters Paradise in Oxnard; they have fair prices for CCW training. I believe I paid $550, which was the absolute cheapest I could find in Ventura County. My instructor was great too. If you want, I can put you in contact with the instructor of the course.

Yeah dont do that. Shooters paradise had a fire, and wont re-open for at least year; or ever.

It's a valid commentary on cost/benefit, and how is the law pertaining to prohibited places anecdotal?

Its not though. The cost for training is supply and demand. All the comment does is say its not worth it anyways. How exactly does that add value to a thread on meeting the requirements to obtain a CCW. If you've already decided you want a CCW, then pissing on the parade adds no value.

In your opinion, of course. Others have already decided not to pursue and renew a CCW because of the growing list of prohibited places. Sadly, this is what the anti-2A crowd wants.

It's like someone who is contemplating marriage, the friend who reminds you that you can opt-out entirely is bringing up a valid point that could be the best advice ever. It's not a common refrain, which is why it's all the more valuable.

Sometimes the best way to play the game is not to play at all.
